Economical Printer Ideal for Home & Small Business Use
I'm tired of those inkjet printers that require cartridge changing so often. These ink cartridges are often more expensive than the printer itself and they don't last very long before you need to replace them. This cycle is unnecessarily expensive and generates more plastic waste which is bad for the environment. The Epson EcoTank breaks this wasteful method and is much more economical and eco-friendly. Instead of individual expensive ink cartridges, refilling ink is quite easy and simple. There are individual bottles of ink that you feed directly into the ink tanks built into the printer and each ink bottle can last you 6000 to 7500 printer pages in color and black, respectively. The ET-3710 All in One SuperTank Printer prints in color and also has copying and scanning functions. It connects to the network so everything can be printed wirelessly, a feature that is necessary in this day and age. I found the whole setting up process to be extremely easy and straightforward. The instruction manual included is only 4 pages long and includes directions on how to fill up the ink tanks, load paper, and to download the drivers or app needed to access the printer on your computer, phone, or tablet. I set up everything in less than 15 minutes and had no issues connecting the printer to my home network. There are a lot more pros than cons for this printer. It's ENERGY STAR certified so it uses less electricity than a traditional printer and each ink bottle is supposedly equivalent to 80 ink cartridges. That's a lot of time and money saved! I thought the filling the ink into the tanks would be a mess but the process was painless and clean. The small LCD screen on the printer is adjustable and easy to read from, and the keypad is simple to use. In terms of print quality, it is very acceptable for an ink-based printer and good for printing documents and work files with simple graphics. It's not nearly as clear or sharp as a laser printer but I find that a printer in this price range is ideal for home and small business use. There are a few things that I do have to mention that may be considered cons. I did find that the lack of a document feeder heavily detracts any serious usage of the scanning and copying functions. Scanning and copying one page at a time is a bit tedious, so I use this solely as a printer. So if you're someone that needs to use the scanning and copying functions more often, I would suggest spending a little bit more for a higher-end EcoTank model that includes a document feeder. The color printing quality is very decent but not extraordinary, so if you're looking to primarily print only color photos, there are more expensive photo printers that are dedicated for that usage. Rather, I feel that this printer is an economical workhorse perfect for document and work printing. Overall, this seems to be a reliable and convenient printer that helps save time and money. It's easy to maintain and easy to set up. This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-3710 All-In-One SuperTank Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

    Very satisfied.
    So far it is working very well. I used cardstock in it and it handled it with no jamming. The tanks that hold the ink are very large, I foresee not having to refill for a long time. The set up was easy.

    Workhorse of a Printer
    This printer was very easy to set up and follow the instructions. The ink was easy to install. I've had a few issues when printing a large number of pages at once, but figuring it out. I'd definitely recommend.

    One of the best printers I ever owned
    With the new white design it looks pretty slick easy to set up I had an Eco tank before the very first one that came out this time to replace if you're looking for a great printer always buy an equal to Eco tank best print the made I don't know why other printing manufacturers didn't do the same just love it great product easy to use easy setup and great support from Epson I highly recommend it

    Exceeded my expectations!!!!
    ..... And my expectations were pretty high!!! This is by far the most innovative printing system I've encountered, from ecotank smart ink to voice activated printing. Not only does the ink last, the print quality is top notch. I do love how there is a quiet mode, which does take a bit longer to print but that's no problem. Lastly I love refilling the ink, super fun and relaxing because of the gulping noise it makes. Absolutely in love with this printer. Thank you Epson!!!

    Amazing printer easy setup
    The installation was one of the easiest things I've ever done on a computer. A simple step by step setup pamphlet comes with the printer. Tells you how to fill the ink; do's and dont's. Didn't spill a drop. Tells you not to hook up to the computer yet, because windows will try to install it's own drivers. It basically guides you through all the preparation, including downloading the drivers, before hooking it up to the computer. They let you know exactly when to hook it up. When it's all done, a window comes up to register it. I've printed over a hundred sheets of paper and some card stock on it so far. Most of it is in draft mode, which looks very good. Printed some in quality mode, which came out crisp, clean and great looking. Did a greeting card on card stock with lots of photos. Came out looking great. Everything so far printed fast, without any paper jams. The printer also starts the printing process quickly. My old printer clunks and clanks for an eternity, before deciding to do something, hopefully without a paper jam. It's barely used any ink during this process. Have had no smears, extraneous ink marks or other issues associated with my previous cartridge based printers. Very happy with this purchase for now. I never knew I need 2 sided printing until I bought this printer. It cuts my paper usage in half and makes it more convenient to use a 10 page printout over a 20 page printout. I've already printed out a few multi-page documents without any problems. I hooked up with USB, so I have now idea how the wireless functions work, but it easily and quickly transfers items for my computer to print out.

    This printer is so simple and easy to use. The directions walk you through the process step by step. I had initially thought filling the printer with ink would be a messy chore but that to proved to be simple. The ink clicks into place and fills the slot. You can print wirelessly from your personal computer or your smartphone as well as via usb but you would need to purchase a special usb cord for printing. Connecting with the home network was easy and so was downloading software to print from my phone. Quality of the print is superb with the black and the color. I will never go back to a cartridge printer again.
