Powerful, reliable batter
This is the second Maxx Size 65 battery I have purchased. The only reason I replaced the first one was its age! Great starting power in cold weather and never a problem. This battery will last long past its warranty if you keep the top clean and make sure you keep the battery acid level correct by adding distilled water when necessary.

lucky if you get 2 years
battery not used too often ,maybe once a week, barely lasted two years. Yes you can say it is still under warranty, but who wants to change their battery every two years or less. The quality of these batteries keeps going down while the price keeps going up

Best water cell battery for F150s ever, best price
Cons: must check water, NOT maintenance free $12 core charge NOT returned to you if store delivered, so add $12 to actual price; this fee is hidden under TAX ... therefore Wal.personnel claim "no core was charged on-line orders", TIP: no need to waste time Trying to return your old battery for $12 promised to yhou %26 to the TX ATTY GEN F150 loves these batteries MAXX from 700cca on up because they never leave you stranded for 4.5-5 years ... checking water levels 2/year.

    Poor delivery service
Ordered these for delivery. Needed two for my truck. Batteries are great, delivery service not so much. They delivered only one, insisted my wife who was 5 days post-op from abdominal surgery lift it out of the drivers car. The other they said was indefinitely delayed. I went to the store the next day. It was on the shelf! As usual, poor service from Walmart. Why do we keep buying from a store who has poor customer service?

    Over-charged state sales tax!
The battery seems to be fine, delivery was GREAT, BUT the tax was greatly over-charged. The item was $139.84 but the tax charged was $21.79, way over 7%. I made a call to Wal-mart .com and I was told it was part of a product fee!! A product fee doesn't show on the invoice! What is the true story here? It will be a long time before I do business with Wal-Mart again.

Don't buy a battery online 4 quick core refund
    1. I liked the price but the specs online dont match what was stuck to the battery. Online said 850 cold cranking amps and the battery said 750. 2. Do not ever buy a car battery online for store pickup. I am having the online department jump hoops to get my credit for the old battery that the store took out to install the new one. I was charged up front $26 for tax and part of that amount included my credit for giving my old battery to your shop. Accounting had to send an escalation email to the tax dept in your ivory tower and I'm not going to get an answer for up to 48 hours. This is my first and last battery purchase from Wal Mart. the only reason i bought here was because my best friend is buying this SUV and when Ford didn't pro rate my purchase of one of their high priced batteries, I told them where to shove their sorry lead acid batteries! My friend told me he would be happy with a Wal Mart battery and i hope to god he is !

Poor service. No refund on a defective product.
Bought the 3-year battery in November 2022. By Feb 2023 a cell had gone bad and I replaced it elsewhere. Took it back to Walmart. It took them over an hour to diagnose and agree that the battery was bad. They will not refund any portion of the purchase price - only replace the battery. I already replaced the battery elsewhere. What a crock!!!!

Great price and convenient, fast delivery.
Very affordable and, according to my research, one of the best lead-acid batteries you can buy on the market. Do your research. There are only a few different companies who make batteries. You are paying for a sticker. My only gripe, unless I missed it, are missing instructions on returning cores for a refund.

    Detailed Review of buying irritation
Since the local Walmarts did not have the battery I needed in stock, I ordered it online per the clerk's recommendation. The battery arrived the next day after ordering. It works fine so far; ask me again in 2-3 years. When ordering the battery, the website showed a cost for the battery plus a core charge plus tax with free shipping to my address. It would not let me change the date or address to which it was to be shipped which was a little problematic in that I would not be home most of the following day. I went ahead and ordered since the website said there was a limited supply of that size battery. Right after I placed the order, the cart showed a single price which equaled the three items including the core charge. I figured, "no problem, I would just take the old battery to my local Walmart to get the core charge back." Ha! I took my receipt to Walmart and asked if I needed anything else since the receipt did not show a breakdown of charges. The gal in Customer Service said that would be fine. The next day I showed up with my receipt and old battery; I was told by the lady in Customer Service that there was no core charge, there was just one price for the new battery. I argued with her but lost and kind of lost my temper, and left, taking my old battery with me. A couple days later, I went back to apologize for my prior behavior and she said that another customer had shown up the next day with the same story. She was dismayed the Walmart had not provided Customer Service with an explanation. She told me to bring the old battery and receipt back and she would give back the core charge. In trying to find Walmart's breakdown for the core charge, whenever I went to Walmart.com, it would NOT let me "order" another battery, thereby blocking any charge breakdown. I did find a breakdown with the delivery receipt that showed a $12.00 "Misc" charge. I took this to Walmart but the lady with whom I had discussed this was not there and the gal in Customer Service that day would not honor the refund because it did not say, "Core Charge." I tried to point out that the $12 Misc charge was the Core Charge. No dice! Once again I left with my old battery. It took a couple of trips to Customer Service before the lady I had discussed this with earlier was there. Finally, with some additional hassle regarding which register was on which computer system, I was able to get the core charge returned. It should not be this much trouble. IF Walmart does not intend for customers to obtain a Core Charge refund but pay an extra $12 over store price - if the battery was in stock, they should so indicate up front, not show a $12 Core Charge and then not provide a means for readily obtaining a refund. I was not expecting that much hassle; by the time it was over, I spent more time obtaining the refund than it was worth.
