XG2 Has the Technolgy, Fram Has Never Failed Me
I have used/trusted Fram oil and fuel filters since I bought my first (used) car 43 years ago. My dad only used Fram before that. Now into the synthetic age, the XG2 is the only filter I will use for my Supercharged Mustang that has never had another brand of filter on it since 1999! Never had an oil-related engine problem through severe duty on the drag strip either. Though I have not taken this filter apart, I trust it has and does what Fram says on the box. It is also a great value in the land of over-hyped oil filters. I love the grippy surface most of all and no longer ever have to use a filter wrench to get it off. Why change when Fram has protected my family V8's for over 65 years and counting. Ford may install Mxxxxcrft brand filters, but I always use Fram when I change my own oil.

quit sending out used returned stuff
had no gasket and already had oil in the filter. dont think this was a fram problem as much as a retailer problem on previous returned goods. I will not return it and they will probably sell to someone else. And I hate the waste of time dealing with this. returns needs to do a better job

    FRAM ULTRA SYNTHETIC FILTER
    This is a great product unlike the lower and middle line which uses paper filtration...go online and see for yourself. I only use these ultra synthetic filters with full synthetic oil. Anyone with mechanical knowledge would tell you to keep oil changes at 5000 km intervals regardless of manufacturer recommendations. At the end of the day, any problems will be the onus of the owner...don't make this mistake. Oil changes are the single most important thing you can do for engine longevity...don't neglect maintenance.
