Amazing quality of water and best coffee!
Putting one of these under your kitchen sink will give you the best quality of drinking water you could imagine next to combining it with an osmosis filter! I have this hooked in line with my dishwasher to keep it from getting mineral deposits and my fridge to keep the ice maker running clean and clear! The coffee never tasted better! I don't even need those expensive carbon filters anymore! Easy to install and easy to take out! Just remember to cut the water off or you will have a flood! ;) (Never forgot yet thankfully!)

Wouldn't Recommend
I'm not sure how good the actual filtration is, as I haven't had the water tested. But there is definitely still a taste to the water and, after only a few weeks of use, the water tastes like it isn't filtered at all.

    NSF Certified!
    I'm a big fan of Filtrete Maximum Under Sink and have been using this product for at least 5 years. The fact that it is NSF certified means a big deal to me, all of our kitchen pots and pans, dishwasher, and more are all NSF certified. The flow rate is very good and slightly less than without the filter - it's a filter and it's suppose to remove stuff so it's also expect to reduce flow rate and if it didn't, I'd wonder if the filter was working. Other than reading an article from Michigan State university and on NSF, all filters with NSF must reduce PFAs and PFOs "o make a PFOA/PFOS reduction claim, a water filter must be able to reduce these chemicals to below the EPA healthy advisory limit of 70 parts per trillion. Certified products must be retested periodically and manufacturing facilities must be inspected every year, which ensures products continue to meet all requirements. To find products that are certified by NSF to reduce PFOA/PFOS in drinking water, see NSF's certification listings."

    Filters lead, water tastes better.
    I like these filters, they're easy to install and change out, and filter lead, which is not common in these filters. Also filters all the other stuff and chlorine, so the water tastes better. I just wish they were a bit cheaper and easier to find. They're out of stock a lot.

    Good filter, very poor delivery condition
    The filter are good. The condition of delivery was poor. I bought three filters: one box was significantly ripped, one box opened and only one box was in good condition.

    connection to cold shut off needs work
    Seems stable enough to work without mounting...however after connected when you turn on the cold valve all the way the hose from valve to filter is cheaply secured to the valve.
