So far impressed ...
I have recently installed these on my Honda Civic Hybrid. I am really impressed by how quiet and comfortable the ride is with these tires on. I had a chance to test these out on curvy turns and again impressive how easy these tires took the turn -very grippy and stable, no squeaky noiseso, smooth. We had a rainy weather here in San Francisco and Iintentionally wanted to test driving fast into water dumps, and to my surprise no hydroplaning, very stable. Really happy with these so far, can't say nothing about durability but 70k thread warranty is no joke. As far as fuel savings and milage- I don't see any improvement but no downgrade either.

Disappointing Fuel Mileage
Replaced the factory Continental Contacts on my 2014 Odyssey, and gas mileage dropped at least 2-3 MPG. Steering is more vague than the original tires as well. They might be a little bit quieter -- but poor trade for mileage decline and loss of road feel.

    Champion Fuel Fighter Indeed
    I bought my Chevy Cruze in 2014 and it came with the predecessor of the Firestone Champion Fuel Fighter. I got 72,000 miles out of those. I decided to purchase the new model of Firestone Champion Fuel Fighters and I am extremely happy with them! I currently have 52,000 miles on the new set and plan on getting at least another 13,000 miles (which I'm estimating from my current tread) before I start looking to invest in them again! I also bought a set for my Acura Integra and they have been amazing. I am happy with the longevity of the life these give due to our family being road warriors, and am content with the smooth ride on both of my vehicles. I have driven in snow, rain, slush, and during the hot summer months and the tire performs extremely well in all of those conditions. My previous residence was very rural with a lot of road debris and I got a couple of flats near construction sites (nails), but I took the tire back to where I purchased them and they were able to fix the puncture at no additional cost. I do regular maintenance on my car and rotate the tires frequently. The price is well worth it, especially if you can tack on a rebate. I will definitely be purchasing a new set for my cars in the future.

    Quiet ride with 2.1 mpg better fuel efficiency.
    I purchased these tires to replace my Firestone FR710's that had about 8k miles on them. My rim got a hole in it and i had to replace the after market rims and i purchased these tires to put back on my stock rims. My stock rims had BFG's with about 50k miles on them and these tires blew both of them away as far as ride comfort, quietness, and fuel economy. I drive about 60 miles round trip to work every day and have kept a fuel log of every time i fill up. My Miles per gallon went from 18.1mpg to 21.2mpg. I was totally skeptical about these tires actually giving me better gas mileage and if they did i was expecting a difference of 1/10mpg to 1/2mpg better. 2.1mpg exceeded my expectations and the ride quality was a lot better. The quietness of these tires are so profound that when my GF rode in my car she mentioned that my car seems a lot quieter than it normally is, but she didn't notice the ride difference which disappointed me, but at the same time she is not in the car as often as i am. Overall i am very impressed with the quality of these tires.

    Noisy and need to be replaced at 25000 miles
    75000 miles is not accurate. Was told by firestone and Subarau they needed to be replaced at 25000 miles and sorry, no warranty or prorated warranty. These tires are very noisy. I drive 250 highway miles on a typical weekend and 200 highway miles a week commuting. The humming of the tires is terrible. I will say they are good in the NEPA snow but I do not see a difference in the fuel economy with these tires either.

    Terrible Tire
    This is an absolutely horrific tire. I have 16,000 on them and they are done. I was hoping for at least half the tread wear on these. I can't believe I spent $110 a tire and have to replace them already. Never again will I buy these or any Firestone product.

    Sold them when the were "Get You By". It ain't so any more.
    Heard about the re-branding of the cheap Champion being a major upgrade all the way around. Have 59K plus miles on them and they still look and ride great. I rotate them every 5K when I change the oil. I will without a doubt get the advertised mileage and they help to get me above listed fuel economy. I will be replacing them on this car when necessary and am now using them on the wife's Town and Country van.They are not the least expensive but they surely will give me the best cost per mile of any tire I have used before.

    Dont waste your money
    I got this tire to try and decrease fuel usage and liked the treadwear warranty but after 15K miles the tires are already showing significant wear and I do not drive my card hard. The guy at firestone only offered a $10 credit per a tire. My OEM tires were way better in every aspect including gas milage. I do not recommend this tire.

    Excellent tire!
    Immediately after having the champion fuel fighters installed on my '04 accord v6, I noticed how incredibly smooth the ride quality was. They are also very quiet tires during all driving conditions. Not long after installing these on my car, I took a 1,400 mile road trip and consistently got 29 mpg on the highway! Excellent wet and dry traction as well. I'm very impressed with these tires. I would recommend these tires to even the best of friends and family.
