Undemanding
Nothing to dislike. I bought these in place of wired because I'm getting too old to go up a ladder to replace the battery. They are sitting on my ceilings held up with Scott's outdoor tape. Hopefully, I will never have to find out whether or not they really work. That's why I only gave them 4 stars. The test button works, but I don't know if they work from a fire.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/26/2016Satisfied so farWe purchased this model because it was highly recommended on consumer website. So far we are satisfied, but can't really give any long term results as it's only been up for about 2 weeks. Some items need to be used for an extended period before accurate review can be given.funfair

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/04/2016State of the art! Worth the moneyI bought an entire set of these to replace the existing smoke detectors for my whole house. Like everyone, we are very busy. Therefore, I fall short even when it comes to my family's safety and replacing smoke detector batteries. These have dual sensors (ion and photoelectric) and will last about 10 years on a lithium battery that does not need to be replaced for the life of the detector. I installed one of them in my basement room where my furnace and water heater are located. Even though these appliances are fairly old and need servicing, the new smoke detector did not false trigger.efroun
