Baby!
I bought this for my nine year old granddaughter. I bought her the older version when she was a toddler. She named it Baby at the time. Our house flooded, and Baby couldn't be saved, so I bought this one. She was so excited and overjoyed when she opened the box. It's the best gift!

Can you at least work when purchasing
I didn't realize that when you order online some things come from the store. I received the dog and it's already dead. Now I know they don't put batteries in products that last very long. But dang can can my grandson at-least open the gift and see it light up before it's dead. I hate standing in lines but now I gotta go stand in one just to get a toy that hopefully works. So take my advice go get it yourself the first time. At least then you may pick one that will actually work when purchased.
I'm not sure how I'd rate toy. Maybe I'll give review when I see how it works.

It wasn't as cute looking back then but the quality was significantly better. I bought it for my 5 month old and he seems to like it. Right now he mostly chews on the ears and likes looking at the changing lights. I like that you can turn it off without having to open the back and that it sings full versions of songs. I haven't quite heard it say 100 words or over 75 phrases but it's still a decent learning toy for the price. Took off one star because the fabric where the buttons are is very thin (you can see the buttons through it), one of the eyes on mine is a bit wonky snd the stitching is a bit uneven but there were only two in store and the other one was worse.Mars

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/13/2021Cute, well made, and not annoyingCute, friendly, and a bit educational as far as naming body parts (hand, foot, ear, heart), numbers, shapes, and colors. Sings the ABC's, itsy bitsy spider, an "I love you" song that I believe these puppies sing in the cartoon show. Sometimes there's a little laugh for tickling its feet, There are other songs as well, there's a mode one of the feet to change the learning level from 1-3. The voices are not annoying (we have both the girl and the boy version), and gentle/friendly sounding. The volume is not too loud and not too quiet. As far as quality of material, and texture- the stitching is done wonderfully, no loose strings or issues with sewing. The puppies do not look ugly, they're very cute (though I think the boy is the cutest in my personal opinion). It's very soft, but not something you can hug too hard because you can feel the voicebox. All in all, my two babes love their pups.Meghan G

And I like that it has the different stages to grow with baby, so it will be something we can use for a long time! He enjoys the lights, sounds and of course the songs! Would definitely recommend and would purchase again.Laura
