Great ac but bad shipment
I was worried this ac might not be enough to cool my living room cause it gets extremely hot in the living room. Very glad i made this purchase, blows really cold and keeps living room cold, does a way better job then my portable 8k btu ac did. Ac came delivered banged up though, was clearly dropped. Side was dented and fan blades were dent a little but that was clearly the work of bad shipment

Okay For The Price
Need to set its temp lot lower than normal for to work. So don't know the rooms actual temp.
It did arrived with damages to outside cover , Possible this maybe the problem ?
Went back to reorder, But units were all sold out. I would of have return this unit, If another one was available.

My only complaint is that it is very loud, even when the fan is on low. My 10 year old GE that this one replaced was quieter on high than this one is on low. But other than that this air conditioner truly is fantastic!Noah

I don't have wifi and wanted to use the scheduler, but there is no manual way to use it :-( After it was installed, the next morning I had bright sunlight shining through the air conditioner into my eyes. I had never heard of sunlight coming through an air conditioner, but apparently it's a new thing now that they use styrofoam inside :-( I am still trying to figure out what I could possibly do to block the intense sunlight?? This is a huge problem for me as I try to keep my room dark. It is noisy, especially on the hi setting and actually was shaking my window. I thought it would do more cooling than it does, I wanted it for 700sq. feet and was told that this would do it and has the correct amount of BTUs, however now I see that it is only rated for 550 sq, feet.jules105

This is a pre-war apt. with 9 foot ceilings. I wasn't convinced after my husband and son installed it in the window. I even checked the unit itself to see if it was really a 12,000 BTU, it was. In fact, I said to my husband, it's going back! But after the first 2 nights, I was sold. It DOES cool enough, and it went a little further into my bedroom, and even a bit into the kitchen. I couldn't believe it! I was standing a little ways into my kitchen, which is off the dining area, with a wall no less, and I was feeling it on my legs. I never felt that with my old LG ac. Sometimes we even have to turn it off for a bit, cause the family gets cold, while watching TV. So I have to say I'm convinced this IS a really good AC, and of course Frigidaire is a really good brand. I should've known anyway, I have a Frigidaire refrigerator 14 years and still going strong. Yes, I would definitely recommend this AC.Marilyn
