best solution for single entry
was skeptical due to low price and experience with other cheap wireless systems. alarm was used to protect a fire exit door and is reliable and LOUD. arm/arm and trigger very solid not likr wireless systems that have delayed reaction. I purchased 3 more and will deploy in other storage areas. highly recoomend.

Function as expected but 30 sec is too long.
All functions are as expected, which is good as well as good price. The only complaint is the alarm under AWAY mode. It will make a noticeable beep sound once you open the door to remind you to deactivate the alarm in 30 seconds, which also allow intruder to take action in the 30 sec. I won't recommend to a friend until GE revises the timer to 10~15 sec.

    Toddler Proof
    We put this on our front and back door to alert if our toddler escapes. AMAZING!!! Even with door knob holders the kids figure out a way but, once they hear the shrill they run. Also, it's loud enough for the neighbors to hear and get up to peek out the window. We use the chime daily, and screeching at night and while away. For $9, there's no complaints.

    This alarm has a good sound easy to install, the sound is loud I liked it and it only activates with its 4-number code I recommend it with my friends ... I give it 5 stars excellent....good sound if you are thinking of buying an alarm this is a very good option

    Great Alarm!
    I got this about a week ago and I love it!!! It works great & and is very loud. The keys are easy to push so it's not hard to put your code in Incase you need too. It was very easy to set up as well! It has all the screws and tape you need.

    Budget one door alarm
    Super loud alarm and chime. Chime only beeps once when door opens but is loud, Alarm when door opens sounds until you type in your code to cut off. Actually louder than my Adt alarm and same tone, has sticky pads to mount temporary or screw hardware for permanent mount, Make sure the block is within distance to activate system when door opens. Nice looking setup, needs 3 AAA batteries.

    GE 45117 Wireless alarm with programmable keypad
    This is a Great product. I bought one for inside my home & one for inside my storage building out back. Last year someone broke into my apt & building & took almost everything I had. Now I feel safe... Thank you for a great little LOUD protector, the chime doorbell is great also for inside my apt when I'm home.

    I love it I feel more safer leaving my apt. now I can hear when my grandson whom is four open the door ,when he want to go out and play without asking, then the door chimes to alert me.2 of my neighbors decided to order also.

    Loud
    The GE 45117 is a very inexpensive but very reliable from my short tenure using this item. My only real complaint is setting the 4 digit alarm code and deactivating it. Each key that is entered puts out a piercing sound which seems to be as loud as the alarm itself. So the only way I can use this alarm is by covering the speaker with one hand while entering the alarm codes with the other. Rather annoying but that's the deal. The alarm itself is extremely loud - over 100 decibels, so it does its job! If your using this on a daily basis, you may want to spend a few more dollars and get something that's a little more "program" friendly.

    This is an excellent product. Buy it online though (you can pick it up at the store free), as it is twice as expensive in the store!!!!!!
