Very Bright!
This light has 3 levels of brightness. The top level is really bright but the second and third level is better for me to use indoors. I got this to have when there are power outages. It's a plus that I can charge my cell phone too.

    I like to keep lanterns around for lower outages but I also like being able to take them camping or even use outdoors in the yard or on the deck. First off I did not realize it would be so big, which is awesome. It's sturdy and feels like it could take a lot of rough and tumble with kids. The handle is thick and easy to grab. It has a port to charge your phone as well which is nice to have a portable battery as well as light. The light itself it nice and bright. It takes D batteries but it seems like it lasts a long time on them. Overall great to have with you for so many reasons.

    Lots of light uses a lot of batter

    Sturdy and bright
    Searched reviews at many websites to identify a solid lamp likely to be reliable. Very happy to see it when it came. Three brightness settings with pleasant tempered whitish light. Seems quite solid. Much simpler than using propane camping lamp that we had. Can't say re: longevity, since new, but looks good.
