Microwave with a lot of options
It is a very sleek looking microwave. There are a lot of settings to use and it won't take long to get used to them. The plate inside the microwave has a lip it to avoid spilling. There is a chart inside to help advise on cook times for different items.

Rust inside 5 months of use
I have had this for less than 5 months and it's rusting in the crevices. It makes me wonder if it's safe to use.

    Out with the stainless
I've had a stainless steel microwave for quite a few years now and it was starting to go out so this was perfect timing. I was a little on the fence about black but when it arrived I was super surprised. The black is very sleek and different looking and even though black is not a new color by any stretch it's kind of an update on the old stainless steel appliances that we've all grown used to. I mean it's a microwave I don't have to tell you about the size and what fits in there we are pretty much know that but the look of it it's self is what will catch your eye. I hope my pictures do justice to have a sleek looking this microwave for how sleek looking it is. Very quiet. Perfect size for a average/large family. My 7 year old uses it no problem. Definitely recommend

    Love it!
I absolutely love this microwave! When I first used it I thought maybe it was a fluke that it cooked so fast! But I am pleased to say that it wasn't! From just a quick 20 second cheese melt to a 6 minute frozen SOLID pot pie it cooked quickly and thoroughly. I love the turn dial timer so I don't have to turn on the kitchen light to see what numbers to press! Overall- perfect! Highly recommend!

    Awesome Microwave
I really like the Galanz ExpressWave 1.4 Cubic Foot Sensor Cooking Microwave Oven in black stainless steel. It is a chic, modern, state-of-the-art looking appliance that will update your space. One of the best things about it is the actual "1100 watts" is posted on the outside. Many times the wattage does not appear, and when you have to cook something, you have to guess what your wattage is. This microwave is big, but not too large. It has a simple interface and a very unique feature of a turn knob which allows you to dial in the cook time quickly and easily. This microwave is not too loud, but it packs a good amount of power. It has all the necessary settings, including a defrost setting where you enter the weight; and it also has a beverage setting.

    Powerful, Practical, and Beautiful!
I like many things about this microwave. It's huge inside, well lit, and easy to clean inside. It cooks evenly. The ease of use is incredibly good, it has numerous multi function buttons, a good solid closing door. The size and wattage is perfect. This microwave cooks much faster and more thoroughly than other microwaves. I really like the front handle and the intuitiveness of functions most of all. Additionally, the weight is very light-weight for its size. Excellent features for various cooking options. The sensor cooking functions are excellent. I've had this microwave for few weeks and assume it'll continue to meet my expectations for a long service life. Highly recommend!

I love the dial,so much faster than a keypad
We have all faced the frustration of trying cook or defrost something and you are pushing the keypad trying to get all the settings just right while it is beeping away at you, especially if you don't push in the right order. Well, this microwave can sense it for you ! It can determine the best way to go, or you, with the turn of a dial, can reduce the power setting instantly, determine the time to cook instantly, set the timer instantly. This microwave is more quiet as well, since you are not hearing a beep except when the keypad is touched (determining the function you want to accomplish). When you turn the dial, no sound! I found it much less frustrating than previous microwaves I have owned. It runs quietly and does the job. It has sleek lines and is a very nice product. The release panel took a bit of getting used to as I was accustomed to just pushing the button anywhere and this one only opens if you touch it on the left but that could be a safety feature if a small enough child were trying to get it to open. I was especially impressed with the popcorn feature. Other microwaves I have used do a pitiful job on this setting but this machine is fabulous. I popped with No oil, just bare popcorn in a microwaveable popcorn bowl. Popped most every kernel, did not burn ANY of it. It determined the time, I added 30 sec with their +30 setting. Boom, fabulous. Love it. Oh, the sticker you see on the left of the door, it is removeable, I decided to leave it up for a while as a reference.

    Galanz ExpressWave Sensor Cooking Microwave
The Galanz ExpressWave 1.4 Cu.Ft Sensor Cooking Microwave is a great addition to our kitchen appliances. The preset buttons made it quick and easy to cook popcorn, vegetables, beverages, etc. The lock/unlock function is good for families with small children, a great safety meaure, that I very much appreciate. The multiple power levels are great, there have been times when I needed a lower cooking level on a previously owned microwave and it wasn't available. Setting the clock was quick and easy. The sensor settings, I LOVE THEM! No more guessing for me. I just look at the reference lable on the inside, push the button and cook away! I will say that, at first the knob on the front threw me off but after reading the manual, It definitely makes things go more quickly. I also like the plate and turn table inside the microwave, it cooks the food evenly. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

    A nice midsize microwave
I love the color and trim on this unit. Kind of modern industrial. I also like the knob that is used to adjust just about everything. You can use the timer for just a timer without using the microwave. That is a handy feature. The size is really good for about 90% of what you use a microwave for and about as big as I would want to go with a counter top unit. Lots of power and helpful presets. I like the "dinner plate" setting as that is a common use for me. All in all a nice midsize unit. I only gave it 4 stars as it lacks a set up button for preferences and the time display is about twice as bright as needed. It may be possible to lower that brightness but I have not found that option yet.
