Awesome watch, great company
I bought my instinct solar a little over a year ago, and I love it. It's super tough which is great for me working in the construction industry. I also really enjoy the long battery life, this was a selling point for me because I didn't want to have to worry about charging another device every night. After having the watch for a while I started having some issues where it would turn off randomly. I contacted Garmin and was able to get the issue resolved quickly. The service was fast and professional. I would highly recommend this company for you fitness tracking needs.

Please help
I can't figure out how to work it. Your get started clip shows fingers on 2 buttons. So which one are you pushing to get the desired action? I have a garmin 235 that is much easier to work. Please give me a customer service number to get someone to walk me through the steps. I am 79. That might explain my problem.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/15/2022Good but not wowPro's: Good features, comfortable to wear, good readings on sensors, Rugged case for the outdoors great wearable for very active people., Battery life is excellent Con's: price a bit to expensive, display looks like a G-shock watch from the 90's and is also too small for reading messages, the controls are not so user friendly and the backlight could have been brighter. A longer charging cable would have been better Overall it's a good watch for people who like the outdoors and sport a lot.Jens90

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/02/2022AltimeterThis is my third replacement of the garmin instinct solar - my two had issues with the altimeter. In fact my last one gave me 32000 ft of climb in a 20km cycle. My boyfriend was most put out it looked like I had climed everest without him. Let's see if this one works...Shelley

2.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/27/2022sad final performance, battery :(More than a year ago I bought my Instinct because of the promise of battery life, plus the possibility of charging with the sun (since I live in the caribbean I thought it would be my solution), several months ago it began to turn off suddenly even though it says it has a 90% charge, in the only 2 ultratrails I did it stayed half way through the competition, also the cable or the place where it is charged does not work properly either, it only works if I connect it to the computer, I do not know what to do because it is no longer under warranty and I can not trust it to last even 30 minutes in any daily session without shutting down, very disappointing.Olimpia1

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/05/2022So far so good, except...I bought this a week ago. The only issue I have found yet is because of the meter that determine steps is based on arm movement, when you push a shopping cart, or use the lawnmower your steps will not register. The solar is working good, and that was a concern after I read some reviews. I have yet to try it swimming but will try and keep this review updated.Chip

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/18/2022Better than mostI have had Garmin before with a Fenix 5x and it was ok.I wish that they would do a few things different but next to the other watches I have tried like Amazefit and Mobvoi and Samsung I will take my Garmin any day. At least you know it is a quality product that has quality backing and if you need to get a hold of Garmin for a problem at least that is possible unlike the others. I only gave it four stars because they could make it better with a touch screen instead of having to push buttons all the time to get around the watch apps. Other than that, well worth the price.Moe3754

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/29/2022Great featuresI bought a Sunburst 2 weeks ago and wore it for two days then my Doberman ate it. I just a second one and I left the kitchen and he got the box of the second one. Ugh. Can't wait to love the second one. I had a VivoActive hr for 3 years. Guess what happened to that one. I really like Garmin products as I have them on my road and mountain bikes.KB2000

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/17/2022Great battery lifeHad this watch now 3 weeks, after having a Garmin Vivoactive 3. The battery on my old watch needed charging every time I did about 2-3 hours of exercise, and it was a bit of a bind to be honest. The Instinct Solar battery last ages and the sunlight does actually charge it too. Only downside for me is that there are only 4 analogue watch faces and two of those are just inverted black/white. You cannot upload any other watch faces from the Garmin IQ app. Shame but not the end of the world. Would just love a wider range of analogue faces. Really like the watch it's tough and rugged and very accurate for mt walking and MTB riding activities, links with Strava effortlesslyDarrell148
