Gives you better control
I'm replacing a smooth steering wheel cover with this Dickies rubberized cover It has a small section at the top and bottom that are smooth but the rest of the cover has grip shapes molded into the cover that feel great when holding the steering wheel. The grip sections help give you better control while driving. This will be a great cover to keep the steering wheel cooler on hot days so no unexpected hand burns after leaving your truck parked in the sun all day. Great cover at a great price and looks good too. You can't go wrong purchasing this Dickies wheel cover and I highly recommend it.

Dickies Black Truck Steering Wheel Cover
Visual examination of the product shows a nice appearance as well as appealing product packaging. The product is marketed by CUSTOM ACCESSORIES, INC. Richmond, IL, and made in China. The cover is constructed of black PVC with a PU coating (for UV ray resistance), and molded hand grips at the 7-11 and 1 to 5 o'clock positions. The traditional "Dickies" logo is embossed at the 6 o'clock position The cover is nicely stitched, not glued. With its PVC construction cleaning the cover of dirt and oils from hands should be easy. It is advertised to fit truck steering wheels 15" - 16" in diameter. Installation instructions are provided on the product packaging, however it took some stretching effort to install the cover on a Chevy Silverado Truck with a 15.5" diameter steering wheel. Installed it looks nice, but does add some bulk to the steering wheel. Additionally, when installed there is at least a 1" gap between the rear and front of the cover. If a truck steering wheel has "fat" spokes the gap could be more and could possibly interfere with driver steering wheel controls. As I do not have the heated steering wheel option I can not comment on how this cover would work in that configuration.

    Genuine Dickies Black Steering Wheel Cover
    We put this in our truck last week and we really like it. It took less than a minute to install. The double stitch seams and molded rubber grips is exactly what we wanted. It's odor free and stretches easily to install. It's definitely another quality Dickies product that is worth every penny. I would recommend this steering wheel cover to my friends and family.

    Durable steering wheel cover/great hand feel
    I received the Genuine Dickies Black Heavy Duty Truck Steering Wheel Cover, and immediately tried it out on my Husband's Ford. I found it simple to install, with a nice feel to the rubber grip and a good fit that doesn't slip, plus I find that it looks very nice too, as it blends in well, with the black leather interior. It has varied grips on different points of the wheel cover, which I found comfortable and pleasant. it does not slip around and with it being made of rubber, it definitely improved the grip on the wheel immensely. I would definitely recommend this for an improved and more comfortable drive. It seems quite durable, and as a Dickies product, I'm impressed and quite happy to receive a product made from a company reputable for making products that last and perform well.

    Great For a Worn Out Steering Wheel!
    I needed a steering wheel cover as my steering wheel is worn out with age and sun damage, What i love about this Dickies Wheel cover most is the Rubber molded grips. Having installed this and driving for about a week its almost like a new car. I have an enhanced wider grip which is great for my large hands and it covers my unsightly worn out steering wheel. I did need to use a small screw driver to ease the installation. Its seems very well made and is not thin like other cheap options.

    Just what I needed
    I had looked at several different steering wheel covers for my truck and nothing fit what I was looking for. Since this is Dickies brand, I figured I couldn't go wrong. I am not disappointed. The material is really heavy-duty and feels great in my hands. The ridges and details are not only really sharp-looking, but they make turning and steering so much easier. The steering wheel no longer slips in my hands! As a bonus, the thickness makes the steering wheel bulkier so it's easier to grip. No more sore knuckles! The packaging said that it “installs in seconds”. That's kind of vague. It took about 3 minutes with my friend holding one side while I eased it on the last bit with a screwdriver. Overall not too difficult, just really glad my friend happened to be here. Nice cover. Fast shipping. Definitely recommend it.

    Get Grip!
    I love my new Dickies Steering Wheel Cover. It is nice looking and great to grip onto when driving. I like that it also protects the steering wheel underneath. It took 2 of us to get it on the first time and I almost thought it was too small for my Suburban. I didn't notice the Dickies logo and put it on backwards the first time. Now it's on the right way and very secure, looks great!

    Dickies truck steering wheel cover!
    When I first pulled it out of the box i could feel the grip around the sides! It has two sides that are smooth and two that are textured. It is very well made and seems very durable. It was a little hard to fit it over the steering wheel but once it was on it didnt slip or move like some covers do. It feels great while you are driving. I drive a toyota tundra and it is hard to find durable well made steering wheel covers that actually fit!

    Love it!
    I absolutely LOVE this steering wheel cover! It is comfortable to hold onto while driving, and the textures are not at all bothersome like my old cover. The only thing I didn't think through is that it is black leather and I live in Florida. I may get hot during the summer. Aside from that, I highly recommend!

    Improves grip and comfort.
    Steering wheel cover was easy to install, even with our temps in the lower teens. The inner core is flexible and grippy so it's easy to install and stays in place. It increases the diameter of the wheel. I had a drive into work with a lot of ice and snow. In a stressed commute, you will appreciate the smoother control and the increased wheel diameter reduces fatigue on you hands. I really noticed the difference on a couple hundred mile drive. The steering wheel in my Toyota is contoured to look sporty but in reality offers little grip because of the diameter and meterials used. This steering wheel cover helps considerably. I also appreciate that the steering wheel cover blends into my interior nicely I also enjoy the soft touch outer skin that remains soft even in very cold weather.
