Good deal for the price!
Bought the black set and in high light, they look almost dark brown. Heavy, good quality. Large bowls, and the salad plates are the perfect size for tacos or toast. The mugs are a bit large, but I prefer them over teacup size. ALWAYS hand dry unless you don't mind water spots. They don't seem to stain or chip yet as I often leave them sitting in the sink for a couple days before washing, but I've only had them for two weeks.

Love the color
I ordered 2 sets to be used for Christmas dinner. One plate had a chip and I had no choice but to keep them since I did not have time to order more before Christmas. So I'm left with a chipped plate. It would have been nice if these were carried in the store and I could have exchanged the set.

    Decent dinnerware
    Nice dinnerware set and good for every day use. Several pieces had "flaws" with a bump here, or not completely painted right there. One piece was very misshapen. However, the dinnerware - for me - is for daily use and not for fancy occasions, so I can deal with a few flaws. Yours may not come that way either. Came packaged well, and even though the outer box had a gouge in it, all dinnerware was unharmed. Loved the teal color - VERY nice. The white was a little plain. Love the added detail around the rim. Overall plates are a little heavy, and the bowls are a little hard to stack due to their size. I can only stack 3 before I have to start another row in my cabinet.

    Exactly What I was looking for.
    I was looking for a simple set of dishes. I don't care for the ones that have patterns or designs being I feel they are too trendy. I wanted something that would last me for years without feeling like I am out of date. I would have given it five stars but was not to thrilled by the mugs. They seemed to be a bit on the fragile side and not a good solid one. Over all happy with my purchase.

    Great Dishes
    I had been waiting and waiting for these to come back in stock in the green and yellow. I got lucky one day and the green was in stock and I wanted to order two. Sadly, Walmart limited buyers to only one set. Maybe its a trick to go back to the website. Despite the fact that I only have one set now, these dishes are great. They have weight to them, don't look cheap and are of good quality. The bowls are deep, the mugs are perfect for soup or anything. I love the ridged edge on the plates. I recently had to go on a low cholesterol diet and this plate makes it look like I have more food than I do! If you can get them, you wont be disappointed. The stores have limited open pieces, I checked.........

    nice dishes for a nice price
    After 10 years in my home, I had a small collection of several different styles of plates. I was looking for something reasonably priced with larger mugs. I came across this set and liked it all so much I ordered one in white and one in green. They were delivered in 2 days (I used free standard shipping). I pulled all the old dishes from my cupboards, put these in, and love it! The two colors mixed together look great! Side note: as expected, I already dropped a mug on my linoleum floor. It bounced. No break, no chips.

    Good value but buy replacements
    These dishes are a great price and very attractive. However, the way they were packed one broke when I was trying to pull it out of the box so I lost 1 dish immediately. They also chip easily in the dishwasher. If you chip the color they look bad cobalt blue and a big white chip out. You can also see the scratches on the plates from cutting food.

    Finally broke down and bought new stoneware.......
    You cannot beat this value. Just purchased them BUT my son and his wife got them months ago and they are fashionable and durable. They have 4 children to use them. I love the 14 oz. cups and the bowls are a fantastic design and hold a lot. I will not hesitate to recommend them.

    Good sturdy dishes for everyday use.
    I love the new dishes! Pros: sturdy and nice looking Cons: stoneware - so they are pretty heavy and the bowls are big and deep making a normal serving look dinky in them and they don't fit in dishwasher easily. I don't like shallow dainty bowls either - so these are better as far as that goes.... Overall, I am extremely pleased with them considering the look and the price.
