I love this Nest Cam!
I already had Google/Nest products in my home and was a big fan, so this camera was hopefully going to be the cherry on top. The product arrived quickly once shipped. It looked fairly easy to install, but I still had a professional do it so that I wouldn't mess anything up. Installation took about 20 minutes or so, the camera linked right to my Google home app with ease. The camera view is AMAZING, very clear and precise. It records sounds, so I'll know if anyone is near and speaking. The floodlights are very bright and sensitive, but you can control those aspects in the app. Overall, the camera material is very high quality, it's dense enough to withstand winds and rain. The camera itself is magnetic so you can take it off and reposition it however you like. Don't worry, it has a wire attaching to the floodlight so it can't be easily stolen, atleast without some effort. I absolutely love this camera, it's a great addition to our google/nest family of products!

    Fantastic Product
    Super fast shipping and great packaging by Walmart. The product itself is easy to setup and works well. We are a Nest family and have other products already, so we were happy to be able to purchase this during a sale. Highly recommend!

    Finally was able to run power to where I needed this light and the outcome is GREAT! Everything comes in a nice packaging, very organized and simple. The camera and light features work hand in hand with a great picture day or night as well as far reaching led lights. The floodlight illuminates the entire area, while the camera can see almost the full 180 of the side of my house. While the picture could be a little more detailed in night video without the light on, it is on par with other outdoor night vision cameras I have used. The only knock on this is installation. It only comes with a video, and only has instructions for mounting on a wall, and not the underside of a eave like many flood lights that are already installed. It took a little extra time to get it in the right position and you have to flip the video 180 degrees once you install it to get the picture the correct way, but otherwise its not too complicated if you are handy. If you are not handy, the instructions are pretty lacking. The video is a good overview, but they need to number the screw and specify which ones are used in each position. The alan security key did not fit the screw head it was supposed to, I ended up having to use my own to complete. Overall still a great product.

    A cool camera with motion activated light
    The nest cam and the light are both motion activated. The device is hard-wired so it doesn't need batteries. We replaced a traditional lighting fixture with this cam by the front door so it provides added monitoring. Installation was pretty simple and straightforward with only 2 wires that need connected. The cam is attached to the light fixture via strong magnet which makes it easy to adjust/swivel. The app required to operate the camera is also easy to set up. The picture and audio come thru nice and clean. We've used other security cameras and the functionalities are similar but some are more streamlined, like added filters to exclude motions triggered by animals. You can also add different zones to capture in video recording in order to reduce triggering. There is also a feature that allows the app to learn familiar vs unfamilar faces. The only downside is the app requires purchase of subscription in order to take advantage of full features (e.g., recording storage, etc.), however, it provides a 30 day free trial period. The look and feel could be good or bad depending on individual aesthetics. It's too modern for me but its clean minimalistic design could appeal to others. Overall, it's a very good camera/lighting that serves dual purpose.

    Great lighting
    I got this approx a month ago and it took a little longer to be able to use than expected. The website and instructions claim easy installation but I don't advise that and also see why Google has their own installers (with a charge) that'll complete the install for you by appointment. We ended up going thru our home warranty company for electrician to install as a replacement for our existing floodlight. The wiring is not very long so thats another reason it's best to have a pro do it. The floodlight itself is very bright, but no brighter than our others and the camera is very clear. I also advise that if your going with the "WIRED" systems that you keep all your other items wired so not to have so many apps/companies and things to be bothered with. I do like the floodlight cam tho as I'm partial to Google and their products and the cam has awesome clarity. I just believe it needs a little work to be an outstanding Google product that we all expect from their company.

    Fantastic security light once we got it connected
    This is a really nice Camera with flood lights. Came boxed securely without a bunch of extra packaging. Installing was pretty easy for my handy husband. We did go buy a surface mount so we could mount it on the wall where we wanted it. Took a star off because the set up proved somewhat difficult. We had much trouble connecting it to the app. We ended up having to call customer service twice before finally being successful. Other blue tooth products in the house were preventing set up. Even had to turn off our apple watches and speakers. Once it was finally set up it proved to be a really nice system . The picture is clear both day and night and the lights are very bright. I have a pretty large driveway and a lot of vehicles and the camera lets me see all of them. Catches motion really well and doesn't stay on long enough to be an annoyance like many others. Over all happy with this item and would definitely recommend.

    Great camera and light
    The Google Nest Cam with Floodlight is a great setup for added home security. I chose to install it on my front porch using the existing junction box because the light switch must be kept on all the time. It was straightforward though I had to improvise with washers because the mounting plate screws were a bit too long. After setting it up on the Google Home app, I can view and hear what is happening at my front door. I'll be curious to see how well it works when I'm not home.

    I'm a huge fan of the Google Nest - Nest Cam with Floodlight (wired) and have multiple cameras at my primary residence and my vacation home that I rent out via Airbnb. No matter where you are in the world you can log into the app and see what's happening. You can set the cameras up with motion sensors to alert you whenever it senses motion. As a landlord, you'll ask yourself, "How could I have lived without this before". For my Airbnb's that are 175miles away from home, I use the cameras to know when my new guests first arrive for their stay and when they check out. I use it to know when my cleaners have completed their clean so that I can notify the new guest that the house is ready for them. I have hot tubs at the Airbnb and I used to have an issue with random people, not my Airbnb guests, sneaking in and using the hot tubs between guests. Not any more ... I caught a couple of groups trying to use the tubs and I spoke into the app, telling the people that I have them on video and that I was calling the police. They immediately left and never came back. In the spring and summer, I watch the black bears and baby cubs wander around the yard playing and sniffing my bear-proof trash bin. These are also very reliable, always on, and impervious to cold weather. If I could offer more than 5 stars, I would :)

    Peace of mind!
    This Nest Cam with floodlight is a great addition to my home security. It was very easy to install and had quick set up instructions on Google Home. The camera gives a clear picture and has the option to view a live feed. The flood light is very bright and has motion sensors. I would definitely recommend this product.
