Not nearly as bad as some reviews have stated.
First I have to thank Walmart Customer Service who assisted me when my order was not delivered in the 2-Day time frame. The Pixel Buds have such a polished design. The sound is not the best but far from the worst. The design and comfort make up for any lingering issues.s

1 out of 2 buds work.
Purchased these online roughly a monthish ago. The person purchased for tried repeatedly to get both earbuds to connect. Only one would. After numerous troubleshooting attempts including factory resets of both hardware devices, multiple hardware devices attempted, and a new phone purchase, the earbuds still cannot function together. Cannot return/exchange online due to age, so going to go through manufacturer option. If an earbud doesn't work immediately, don't bother with the troubleshooting steps. It's a common issue and should be lemoned/re-paired not refurbished.

    Great if your in to the Google eco-system
    Really good sound. I'm not an Audiophile but I Like the sound. Not too much Bass, so that might deter some. I love the fast syncing with my Pixel 3XL. The earbuds feel fine even after wearinf them for a couple of hours. Only downside is the Battery. I think it can only go 3-4hrs on a charge with the case being able to recharge 3 times. I have a pair of Soundcore Liberty 2 Pro's, and I use them when i'm listening to music.

    Right bud not working
    Good: Pixel Buds paired up seamlessly Bad: Only the left bud worked. Right bud did not work. Pixel app showed that both buds paired and was 100% charged. Case was 100% charged. Once paired, only the left bud worked. Searched the Internet and appears to be a common issue. I tried all the fixes I found on the Internet and none of them worked. Tried to pair it to another phone to see if it was a phone issue. Unfortunately it wasn't. Both phones, same issues with the buds, the right one never worked. Was looking forward to them. Was going to see about getting a replacement, but item became out of stock. Pretty sure, there will be a lot of returns for this one. If you only want left bud, this is for you, but if you want both buds to work, move along and check out other brands.

    long time Google fan. New... Left bud not working. fully charged. This is not an isolated incident. I have gone through every possible fix... nothing. Returning today. Sorry Google, after reading that so many others experience this same issue, I would avoid this product and the new bud A series.

    Great wireless earphones overall
    Great wireless earphones with a very nice looking case, it fits perfectly in my ear and it's so light sometimes I forget I'm wearing them. The touch controls on the side are very responsive and accurate. The sound is crisp and clear and it's great for calls and meetings. Integrates seamlessly with my Pixel 4XL The only issue is that the buds lose charge slightly at different charges. Which should be fixed with firmware updates

    Don't Buy -- Research Connectivity Issues
    Great design and concept, but extremely disappointing performance. The sound quality isn't great -- it was better in the first version of the buds -- and worst of all, the headphones cutout/drop out regularly. Annoying when stationary, totally useless when exercising outdoors. Just Google the connectivity issues with these, and you'll see that I'm not just an outlier. I don't recommend these to anyone.

    Room for improvements
    The mechanical charging port fit is very sloppy and loose and within a week was difficult to charge. 3 weeks of this and now it can only be charged wirelessly. The silicone ear piece came off in my sons ear and it took several minutes to extract using tweezers. Gorilla glue these in place.

    Fair for the price
    I love how small the charging case is. It goes right in your pocket. Sound quality is great for the most part. Google Assistant could use some work as it has terrible understanding sometimes. It also gets hard for someone to hear me sometimes as if it mutes my voice. I do love the noise reduction and sometimes use them with my windows down or the radio a little loud.

    The good: Compact. Pairs quickly. Good crisp audio. Great mic. Touch controls simple and effective. Snug fit—won't fall out, even when taking off a tight shirt. Charges quickly (and wirelessly). The bad: Priced about $30 too high. Decent but probably not enough bass for those who listen to bass-heavy tunes. Battery life is short compared to other wireless headphones.
