Bright idea
These low heat bulbs have a nice soft but bright white light and because they are equivalent of a 100 watts, they put out a lot of light. I used these in my lamps and we only need to use one lamp to light up our living room. There is a nice non-glaring glow that is close to daylight. Everything looks crisper without that haze that some bulbs give off. I'm excited that they are the same size of a regular filament bulb so they fit into lamps with shades on them. There is little heat and they save money as LED's are cheaper to use. I am thrilled to finally have an LED light bulb that will fit most of my lamps. My mood is so much better, having lights that will brighten up a home like daylight on these dull, dark winter days.

Terrible packing
The items were fine, but the packaging was terrible! Without the required packing and correct sized shipping box, the AAA batteries busted open, and were rattling around the box. They were loosely packed with lightbulbs, but somehow the bulbs made it through unscathed!

    best lighting, awesome savings and selection!
    super amazing lighting may I first add....and also not hot to the touch ...you can literally touch the bulb when it's lighted and it's not hot at all....I mean this new led lighting is just amazing ...not only did my electric bill drop by 20.00 a month after I replaced all my bulbs in the house....but the lighting is like 10 times better than standard glass bulbs....even the standard glass energy saving bulbs.....I just love the price point of these bulbs ....and just the quality and the fine works of these bulbs are just amazing....no better bulb on the planet like this bulb....I found my bulb for life .... and may I add.....THERE PLASTIC AND WILL NEVER SHATTER!!

    Great Value Light Bulbs
    These light bulbs are very standard soft white but gives off a yellow warm color to the room. I am using one outdoors in the balcony and it works great. It is a bonus that it is shatter resistant. This adds a bit a safety in my mind. They look more plastic than glass. Overall great for using around the house.

    Very bright! Is truly break free!
    First thing I did was test it by throwing it on the dining room floor. We threw it several times and it never broke and still worked perfectly. We put it in our son's room next to a regular bulb. This one is so much brighter. I highly recommend this especially for kids rooms.

    Soft light, perfect brightness
    These 6 watt light bulbs are exactly the right level of brightness for indirect lighting in a room. I use them in a reading lamp, a decorative lamp, even in a closet. They are brighter than the 25 watt clear filament that they are replacing, but not harsh at all.

    Odd effect but good
    This light bulb had me wondering what was going on. lol. Lets start with size. It is slightly longer than a different brand of the same same type, wattage and look. This may be a factor for smaller lamps. Once I placed the bulb in the lamp, I noticed it appeared brighter without as much glare. Since I issues with bright lights, this is a nice feature for me. I dropped this bulb 10 times and it did not break and it still lit up without issue. Good for ppl with grip problems. However, the odd part comes in when you take pics. Pic 1 shows my original bulb. It looks brighter than the new one in Pic 2. This is not actually the case. Quite the opposite. I can only guess it is because the GV bulb does not glare as much. The camera must have caught the glare in the first pis, making it look brighter than it was. Might make a note when taking pics All in all I am pleased with the bulbs.

    Great LED bulbs
    The Great Value LED General Purpose One Hundred Watt Equivalent Bulbs are a great product and come with a very good price from Walmart. As the different types of more energy saving bulbs have come out, I have always tried to replace the older type with the best option available. This LED bulb rates an awesome eighty percent energy savings. It has a nine to twenty-two year lifetime rating. It is available for soft white and daylight appearance. Great Value LED bulbs come in twenty-five, forty, sixty, seventy-five, and one hundred watt equivalent sizes. Now being LED the actual numbers are in lumens and the equivalent number is to compare how much brightness we can see coming from the bulb. The estimated energy cost of one bulb per year is one dollar and eighty-seven cents. A savings of forty dollars and sixty-six cents per year on one bulb. That is almost unbelievable. Walmart gives a three year limited warranty. These bulbs are non-dimmable. They can be used indoors or outdoors if the light fixture is enclosed. I cannot imagine buying any other type of bulb. They do cost more to get changed over; but in the long run the cost is far less than standard bulbs. I certainly do recommend them.

    Great Value LED A19 (E26) Light Bulbs, 16W (100W Equivalent), Daylight, 4-Pack: If you are new to LED Bulbs, this is what I found on them For Bedrooms warm white and a yellow tint bulb is best to use because they are easier on your eyes For studying the best bulb is nature white 4000–4500K or daylight white 6000–6500K. When they say LED 19 (E26) light bulbs, they are telling you that this bulb will fit your standard light fixture that are installed in most homes. I find that these 16w (100W Equivalent) Daylight bulbs work great for kitchens, bathrooms, study group areas and closets. They will turn your area in to a brightly lit area so that you can see everything clearly. I have found these brightly lit bulbs are great-added addition to my home. These bulbs all so lower your energy bill. And they last longer then older style bulbs making them a great value

    Excellent way to save on electric bills!
    These bulbs are a great way to lower your electric bills and get a brighter room in your household! I have changed every single bulb in my home from regular to LED and have seen a definite decline in electricity usage, receiving these 100watt bulbs got me to realize how much more brightness and light they provide rather than my 60 Watt LED bulbs! The difference in brightness is huge!!! These are also a little bit larger than standard 60 Watt LED bulb, the base is medium and these are also shatter proof, which I didn't expect at all! I have placed 2 bulbs outside one in a fixture above my front door and one on my back porch and the brightness that they provide is unbelievable! One of those babies lights up my whole back yard! I definitely recommend these LED bulbs to all the shoppers who are trying to save a buck on their electric bill, just think - one 100watt LED equivalent bulb only uses 15.5 actual watts! One bulb provides 1650 lumens of brightness and will only cost $1.87 in energy cost per year, that sounds like a winner to me! They also last up to 18 years/ have 20,000 hours of life, and make sure you get "daylight " bulbs if you prefer a brighter effect, because soft light will give you that yellowish look and they will not be nowhere near as bright, I have learned that the hard way!
