Clone of Hellmann's at a MUCH lower price!
If you like Hellmann's but don't want to pay 2x the price... Get this. I don't like almost all off-brand mayos - Usually too sweet, too much mustard, watery, runny... Not this; to my critical taste buds this is an almost exact clone of Hellmann's, at least the jar I got. Hellmann's got WAY too cute with charging $5 for a 30 oz jar, and lost a lifetime customer having found this and really think it's great. Thanks for reading my review.

Disappointed in Walmart
Im rating this one star because of this issue only.... Walmart states that it was delivered.. IT WAS NEVER DELIVERED!! On my Walmart tracking, it kept saying that it was delayed that a barcode was unreadable. I never received notice in an email of this at all. I had to come onto my account and see it.. Walmart needs to contact you if something is or went wrong.. I have been waiting a very long time for my products..

    V.Good - rates 3rd best I can get.
    Only Hellmann's and Berman's taste better - and Hellmann's used to cost me 69¢ a full quart when I was in college. All 3 brands have clearly different flavors, and all can be "doctored" to improve - with care and a bit of experience. All 3 do better with an extra "touch" of mustard, and due to my low-sodium requirements, I now use only powdered (carefully). Depending on the end use (such as when making tartar sauce), either citric or ascorbic acids are excellent to add. Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) is "safer" to use since citric acid's flavor can be overpowering if you make a slip and add too much! Both are available in canning supplies (or in a drug store), but you have to be careful to read the label, and not to get any with sugar - which can ruin the flavor. The recent price hikes almost everywhere hurts too - I use almost a quart a week. As a senior citizen who's outlived the rest of the family, I also go through a pound of no-salt or sugar peanut butter a week, in PB, mayo, lettuce, and onion sandwiches and snacks. The extra flavor and sharpness help make up for the loss of flavor due to no added salt. Being also low potassium, mayonnaise is a major ingredient in most of my meals, and Great Value is almost as cheap and as good as Aldi's Berman is, and easier to get.

    This is quite possibly the best private label product I've ever tried. It is a PERFECT copy/knockoff of Hellmann's mayo (no exaggeration!).

    Thumbs-up for Great Value Mayo!
    I was a Best Foods Mayonnaise guy before, but the price at almost $5, I consider that a rip off - I remember buying it when younger and it was always $1.49. Great Value brand taste just like Best Foods at almost half the price. I purchase store brands whenever possible as they are much cheaper and better value than brand products.

    Depends on use whether I would purchase again.
    Price looked nice. Not the same flavor as Kraft Mayo, a bit more sour, creamy yes, I used it in making biscuits and it worked fine and tasted well. In doubt if I would purchase again.

    Very good taste and way less than Hellman's. I'll try a great value product here and there, trash the “not so great ones” but this is very good for the price.

    Good mayo, among the best, but...
    The mayo is as good as the major brands i would give it a five if rated alone, but due to very careless packing with loose cans in the box, and little to no packing, two of the four bottles were busted open. If Walmart had reliable packers working in the warehouse, they would have packed the four jars of mayo alone in their own box. Now I must call customer service and complain once again.

    A truly excellent mayo. Mayo is probably my favorite condiment so I've tried store brands, regional brands, national brands. This is my favorite - it's creamy, rich, but not eggy or tangy. Excellent for egg salad, tuna or just on a sandwich. Give it a try and it costs way less than national brands.
