A REAL BARGAIN
These are so cheap and just as good as the name brand. I like the fact they're made out of whole wheat and they don't taste like cardboard. They are a firmer cracker than a regular saltine. I enjoy the mostly crumbled in soup and spread with peanut butter.

    How you gonna make SALTINES with no SALT?
    We've tried these several times (I don't know why, gluttons for punishment I guess). Each box, the crackers are stale and have NO SALT. Like, you're lucky if you get one salt crystal on every fifth cracker. We have bought our last box of these (unless we ever need stale saltless crackers for something).

    Stale and tasteless
    I decided to try GV Saltines because I like most of their food items but I did not like the 1st box which was about 3 mos from expiring. They were not tasty or crispy which is a requisite for a good tasting cracker. I did order another box thinking they would be fresher. They were 4 mos from expiring and no better than the 1st box. Stale crackers with no taste is sort a like stale bread than can ruin your sandwich. Just a waste all around. Waste of money, even if they are the lowest price and time to deal with them . I don't plan to order the GV crackers again. I think if they are not fresh 4 mos away from expiring there is another problem in the ingredients or processing.

    Poor packaging, often stale
    Often under cooked "paste chips". The sleeves they are packed in are often leaked: stale crackers. Only one in 4 boxes are cooked enough to be reddish-brown on top. I have found ALL FOUR SLEEZES FAILED AND STALE. No quality control.

    Inconsistent quality
    Sometimes these crackers are light and fluffy. More and more often, they are very thin, hard, and over baked to the point they are brown and have a burnt taste. When they're like that, I can't use them for most soups or peanut butter crackers for my little ones. They're so much cheaper than the name brand ones that I keep buying them, but it's not worth the inconvenience or savings anymore.

    i simply think if you are suspicious of a no name Brand, you can trust Walmart! I like the flavor and freshness of their wholegrain Saltines. AND, So do the Birds and Squirrels I feed everyday

    TOO MUCH BLEACH IN FLOUR BUT GREAT product!
    love soft texture, price for quanity BUT can actually taste BLEACH dawned o me it's the FLOUR item is baked with! thus, BLEACHED FLOUR, of course! and sometimes has a not-fully-baked flavor. HOWEVER, for freshness, generous 4 sleeve-quanity and PRICE? can't beat it. FOUR STARS!

    Where's the salt?
    I like the price but the Saltines are missing the salt. No salt crystals on either side.
