Awful!
I had hoped that this product for GV frozen Butternut squash would be good. I love Butternut squash, but frankly, I am not crazy about the weight debit on these items so I thought getting frozen would help me skip that. Well, there was no weight debit, but there was also no flavor. They tasted like they were past the ripe stage when they froze them. We cooked them in a steamer last night for dinner and took two bites and my son spit them out. I took one bite and knew they were not right. Could have been freezer burn on Walmarts end because the day I received them is the day we cooked and were going to eat them. Very disappointed especially at the cost of $1.48 a bag. I would not recommend it.

    Yummy and easy to make happy I tried them
    I used to make mashed rutabaga and that's a pain , this butternut squash is so easy just steam it in the microwave or heat on stovetop. It's a small portion so I ordered two this time . I mashed them up put a pinch of salt, butter and heavy cream and it's heaven . A healthy vegetable turned into a nice side dish ! Eat alone or mix with mashed potatoes or anything

    Better alternative to fresh
    Fresh Butternut squash is hard to cut and this frozen one is so much better and easier! Pieces are uniform and most common size found in recipes. Packaging keeps freezer taste from food.

    Torn bags
    Both bags were torn on the sides. The seam was broke on both bags. When i took them out of the bag most of the squash stayed in the grocery bag. Had to throw them away.
