Keyboard stopped working
I should have listened to some of the other comments I saw. I purchased this back in December of 2020 for my daughter as a Christmas present. Here it is August and the keyboard quit working for no reason. The sound just went completely out. I contacted Walmart and they won't take it back, because of the 30 day policy. I'm not real happy about spending that much money on something that stops working 8 months later.

Not a bad deal for the money.
I am new to piano and decided to buy this so i wouldn't break the bank if I failed to continue. With that said, it's a good first keyboard. The keys are semi-weighted and don't really have the feel of real keys, but it's ok. The volume is rather low so i connected up to an amp i had. But when you do that then the volume is only controllable from the amp and not from the volume control on the keyboard. But for the cost it is really hard to be too picky. If i keep playing i will want something better in a few months.

    great for the family!
this keyboard is exactly what i was looking for. easy to a up a use right away. it has just many keys as a size piano. it's got alot of settings and it came with a sus petal and a button so you dont even need to use it. can be charged used without the cord.

    Very nice starter piano.
Nice stater keyboard with sustain petal. Press the keys soft and the sound is soft. Press the keys harder and the sound is louder. Great for playing piano and forte.

I love it! Item came before arrival date. Plays wonderful for a beginner. Though I wish I had a stand, but that can be remedied. Thanks!

More like a toy than a digital piano
Unfortunately, this keyboard was very low quality and had to return it. It does have some Pros: - came with a bag - very lightweight - rechargeable battery that lasts a long time Now the Cons: - when plugged into the USB it can't handle more than 4 notes of polyphony. Chords come in and out. - built in sounds are awful - it can't be used as a proper MIDI Controller, because it doesn't have any velocity control. To be exact, the velocity is 127 regardless of how the key is pressed. - the pedal connects through an 8th inch cable, virtually making any better pedal impossible to use with it. It's true that “you get what you pay for”, but there are other pianos around the $200 price point that are way better. In its current state, the Gymax is really just a toy.
