High Priced Block online returns
It is substantially overpriced. The return price does not allow multiple returns as does the software on disks that is greatly cheaper and you have to pay about as much for the state return as you do the federal return. You also have to pay extra for e-filing. I will never do online again. If I do DIY, I will buy the software from sources with the greatest features, not the brand name !!!!

When I came back I took care of it online because it wasn't tax season and most offices in my area were closed. They did, however, call to remind me of the deadline for my extension and helped me with my questions along the way. There are many safeguards with them and I haven't had a problem yet. Waited over an hour on hold to talk to a rep to see why its taking so long to review our fed form. Very simple return, standard deductions ect. Waiting to do state form Have used your programs for years. Never had this many problems. Hope to get it done before 2021 taxes due!!!!!D Schreifels

Since I had all my information collected and ready I was much at ease in doing my 2020 tax return even though I had much work to do on farm revenues and expenses. Finding forms needed to fill out when needed and not included in the interview was obscure. It does link you to the Federal website but pulling in to the program is obscure. Also, the description of the various program options needs more details. A list to click on telling what is included in each program would make it easier to decide. Another thing that is frustrating is that as you are nearing the point to submit, the program will not let you go back to add something you forgot. You should be able to do so, then have program recalculate and let it be sent after including your addition. "Is there anything you forgot but need to"? If so, click hare and add it.Ranger 2K

It should have been made very clear before I started my return that this was the case, so I could have selected the right product. After discussions with customer service, I should have downgraded to the Deluxe version that would have allowed me to e-file. I've used HR Block's program for over 10 years and I'm not sure if I'll use iron the future. Very disappointing.KRitter

Also, my NY State e-file was rejected and NYS could not assist because HRB could not provide the rejection code. Had to file an extension and wait two days to get paper return generated for filing.JDnyc87
