Nice and quiet
I've had this mower for at least 6 months, I've had no problems with it, it has good power for those thick bunches of grass, I can cut my lawn 5-6 times before any charge( I have a small lawn but still that's cool) and my favorite feature is the lights, they are bright enough to cut in the Evening, and it's easy to clean and easy storage, I do recommend it to my friends and family. Prices aren't bad either

2 months then failure
Worked quite well the first 2 months of ownership. Suddenly today, the mower will just flat out stop running. Usually happens when trying to use the self-propelled function, over somewhat bumpy and uneven (aka DEAD SPOTS) lawn, but never had an issue before. However, it also does it if I'm just trying to push the mower without any self-propelled assistance.
Then, website for product registration seems half-cooked, won't let me register the mower to request assistance.
Other observations - I'm a tall guy, so I like the handle up higher to save my back. However, the construction of this unit seems quite flimsy and there is a lot of wiggle left to right on the handle when turning and manipulating the mower. I've checked numerous times to make sure I haven't broken or bent something as it seems so flimsy. Also, when I was trying to troubleshoot the stopping issue, I discovered a LOT of grass clippings packed up around the drive mechanism (I mow ONLY with the mulch plug). It was obvious this was not just from the current mowing session when the mower was stopping, but had accumulated over several weeks. It may or may not be related to my problem, but it should be mentioned as it would seem to be a place where the mower can easily fail.
Also, be prepared to invest in additional batteries. The provided 5Ah battery lasts at best 30 minutes of normal use and takes several hours to charge with the provided charger.
Overall, it seems the reliability of this machine is suspect. I have the string trimmer too and LOVE it, which is why I stayed in the Hart family of products. Hopefully this is a one-off and it can get fixed. If I can update this review later I will.

It's perfect for our ~750 square feet lawn! It can get our entire yard done with one battery (even have charge left over to use the Hart weed eater around the edges of the house and fence). It's extremely light weight that I felt comfortable using it while pregnant it has amazing setting so you can make sure to customize the cut for your lawn. The bag keeps the lawn clean so the dogs don't get the clippings stuck all over them and track into the house. Plus in the end of the mowing this folds up nice and compact so it takes up very little space in our garage! I really can't say enough how much I love this lawn mower!! Oh! One more thing - NO NASTY GAS SMELL!Koalabearvt

It mows great no issue with the way it cuts. The only issue is the battery life it says it will do .5 acre on a full charge my yard is smaller and I have to stop midways and charge the battery. This however was not what I was expecting. Mower is really sturdy except one of the front wheels is wobbly right out of the box (could've been damaged in shipping) I charged both batteries fully had think grass using mulch plug this thing was struggling right away I thought I was missing something so checked everything and tried again but as soon as I got to thicker grass blades slowed down putting lost of strain on the motor ran out of first batter after about 75sq ft run time about 20-30 minutes replaced battery with second one and still couldn't finish with waiting to recharge. I still would give this a solid 9 out of 10 for design, comfort and self propell power as everything worked perfectly. I think electric mowers just need more time to catch up to gas equipment.NOMAN

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser10/30/2021Perfect Pace = Power Assisted PushMy bar was pretty high, as I have a relatively new mower with a Honda engine that starts on the first pull almost every time. It's self-propelled, and you can control the speed by how hard you squeeze the levers on the handle. It's intuitive, easy, and I love it. I would like to go all electric and not have to mess with gas cans, but nearly all the electric self propelled mowers' speed controls are little sliders you reach over and adjust with your thumb. That would be a major step backwards to me. This Hart mower has "Perfect Pace", which is a system where when you push in on the handle, the mower takes off, and when you slow down or stop, the mower does likewise. It was on sale at the end of the season, so I decided to try it out. It arrived and I gave it a 'test drive' by mowing the lawn, even though it didn't need it that much. The mower did fine, but I never got comfortable with it. I kept thinking it was just a 'learning curve' on my part, but by the end of the job I figured out what the issue was. With my old mower, I would often say "I'm going out to chase the lawn mower around for a while." This was almost literally true since when I squeeze the handles, the mower takes off and goes at the speed I want (faster for thin areas, slower for thick), and I just walk behind it. With the Perfect Pace system, you have to actually push to make it go. I'd describe it as a "power-assisted push mower". After finishing the lawn, I returned it to the store. If they ever get a speed control system like my old mower, I'll be in, but till then, I'll stay with what I have.TXdude
