Big ol'Battery Keeps Going and Going
I received the Hart 40v cordless 12 inch string trimmer and blower combo as part of Walmart's spark reviewer program. The blower is very powerful and the battery lasts as long as I want to blow. The battery is very heavy, but the blower doesn’t seem heavier than it should. You cannot plug the Blower or Trimmer in to charge, instead you remove the battery and put it on the charger. The Trimmer works great as well. Again, that big battery lasts longer than I wish to work. The trigger is my favorite part. Instead of an on/off switch, you pull the trigger, making it super easy to pause for a moment to get in the right position. Overall, very nice combo, looks great and works great.

    Extreamly Unhappy To Say The Least!!
    I ordered this item online and when it got to my house the product had been opened up and none of the paperwork was in the box that means that I do not have the warranties for the product or the set up instructions for how I should use it or the type of refill codes I am supposed to get so that it is compatible with my trimmer

    May have been a mistake.
    Battery wouldn't charge right out of the box. I had ordered a second battery and it worked fine. Trying to get a replacement battery and the process is not very easy.

    You didn't know you needed this till now.
    This string trimmer is very nice. It is not heavy at all. The weight distribution is great. I Love that it is battery operated and don't let that scare you away thinking the performance is not as good as a gas powered or corded. My only complaint is that it is single line. The blower blew me away with it's performance (pun intended). Not as good as the bigger blowers but it does the job. It will definitely come in handy for the yard work around here. All in all the price is great for the package. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a string trimmer and/or blower.

    I have always wanted a HART product since seeing my neighbor use them in his yard. When I saw this combo deal I knew that now was the time. In this combo, you get the HART 40-Volt Cordless 12-inch String Trimmer the blower, a 40-volt battery, and a charger. The Trimmer is light-weight and cuts through even the thickest grass or weeds. It has an auto-feed head and an adjustable 10 to 12-inch cutting swath. The blower provides up to 190 MPH of power and is also very lightweight. I didn't feel exhausted from lugging either around the yard. The 4.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery works great and says it lasts up to four hours and I came close to that today, 3 and a half hours and it was still going strong. Definitely pick up this combo, it's amazing.

    Only comes with 1 Battery...
    My husband and I just bought our first home, with a lot size of About 10,000sqft. I can't tell you how excited he was when this box arrived and put everything together in about 10 minutes. You do need to charge the battery for about 6 hours though before first use. My only complaint about this system is it only comes with one battery. This past weekend, my husband mowed the lawn while I was were eating around our fence and landscaping. I had planned to let our oldest handle the leaf blower as I thought it would be easy for him to handle at age 10. The only problem is that if I'm using the battery in the string trimmer, you can't use the blower at the same time unless you get another battery or you'll just have to take turns which is not very convenient. Now what I do like about this combo. They are both extremely light weight. My husband is 6'1 and I am 5'4 and neither of us had a problem. I was worried that the battery would be heavy on the string trimmer but it actually works as a nice counterweight. I love that this is battery powered and you don't have to worry about gas spilling everywhere especially if you have kids or pets running around (which we do) the blower says on the box that it has a speed of 190mph. To me, I thought it felt like an oversized hairdryer, that was easy to hold for a period of time. We had some left over saw dust and tiny wood pieces in the garage leftover from the weekend priors project, and they were blown away easy. I also didn't have any issues blowing the cut grass off the sidewalk or driveway. We don't have any leaves yet, but I'm sure the blower will be able to tackle them as well. Again, I really do love this combo, but I took off a star because for the price, I think they should have included a battery/charger for each system.

    Battery power to the rescue!
    The battery life for this set is really good, I just have a small yards to maintain so getting the over growth knocked down takes like 30 minutes. I tried out the leaf blower just for kicks and it's incredibly strong and measures 22 mph with the nozzle on! Once fall hits cleaning the leaves up around my yard will be simple simon. I did blow off the dirt on my porch for what that's worth. The best part is no more gas smell! I'm grateful. The battery took like an hour to charge out the box. I haven't recharged it yet. Assembly took maybe 5 minutes but putting the nozzle on the blower took some muscle, it's a really tight fit. The battery dies make both devices heavier and a little awkward because the weight isn't evenly distributed but it's not a deal breaker. I like this set!
