Powerful and sleek
I bought this to have more power and still keep the maneuverability. I had back surgery as a young man and still acts up from time to time. This unit HLBL041VNM only weighs 31lbs comes with a 5ah battery and a trickle charger. It's a joy to use as I don't have to winterize it or mix 50:1 fuel and spend time trying to start it. I just kee the battery's on the charger plug and play! The joy stick with the trigger let's you control to amount of air being blow and is amazing around mulch, inside a shop and around flower beds. It's got cruise control.... really who does that?? HART THATS WHO! It makes it hard not to love the right equipment for the job and Hart does that for me as a diy home owner. Also I store it with the 1st tube off and maybe even the 2nd tube off when I put it out in the shop to hang it up.

It's A No Go For Me
This thing does not have the kick to replace my gas blower. The battery only lasted about 10 mins and it takes hours to recharge.

    great at home leaf blower
easy to put together. really good for small yard work. only draw back is i wish the boost would be able to keep on or off when having both batteries in.

    Love the blower
Leaf Blower does perform as expected. Musch quieter than gas powered blower. Love the blower, but was only able to complete ~1/8 of the job of blowing leaves from my 0.27 ac yard. Battery life limits practical use for anything than intermittently blowing off a short driveway and sidewalk. Great concept, impractical application at th is time. Cost of extra batteries is prohibitive for residential use. Will return leaf blower for gas powered back pack. Will consider repurchasing when cost of batteries is more afordable. At $33/AmpHr, this form of power is not cost effective in these times of 5-6% Inflation

upside to the blower is its battery operated and no need to mess with gasoline or clean carburetor out. Down side is it lacks the blowing power of a gas blower. definitely wouldn't recommend for medium to large jobs unless you plan on purchasing 2 to 3 extra batteries and at $145 a pop is pretty unreasonable. also using the 2 min power boost is good but the battery only last about 15 minutes using it constantly.

Poor battery performance. Poor power output.
Not at all what was expected. Fully charged batter only lasted 20 minutes. I needed high boost power but could only get it for two minutes and it would go back to low power. Battery takes a very long time to Fully recharge. An extra battery would help but the price is crazy expensive. I'm taking the product back. Very disappointed.

    Occasionally lawn-care person
I loved it at 1st, it is a little heavy with 2 batteries in it . That said I purchased it in April 2020 not used often because I have a lawn service. The trouble now is when I use the high power it works good for the 2 minutes or so but then it won't work at all . I have to let rest and not use the high power just to finish 24'x27 deck . I did buy the warranty about see if it was worth it .

    Buy this over Ryobi
I picked up this leaf blower a few months back as I was in the market for a backpack leaf blower, after looking at all of the options out there I decided on the Hart over the Ryobi one. All around it's a great product and very easy to use, has great power, and even came with a battery. I do also like that you can get a 2nd battery for extended run time. The only complaint I have is the weight of the unit, but then again I would much rather carry the weight on my back as opposed to holding all of the weight in the hand and walking around. I would definitely recommend picking this up if you are in the market for a backpack blower.

    10-15min run time very comfortable
I PAID for this so here's the TRUTH. The backpack is light enough to carry for the 10-15 mins of run time ( ONE 5 amp hour battery). Charge time is about 2-3 hours from empty to full. The battery's are super expensive I hope they go down as they Come more popular. Yes it's a nice blower for a home owner who has to blow off a drive way or carport. If you have more than 1/8 acre of leaves to blow this isn't for you unless you a have 2 days to finish. For me I own several blowers, this hart 40v is perfect for my front yard and daily blowing off the carport/garage/ walkways. It does have a cruise control, and the tube is pretty flexible left to right not so much up or down. It's long enough to almost reach the ground on a 6' Man. I'm saddened by the lack of power by just holding the trigger without pressing the “TURBO” button which gives you the full 145mph and 600*CFM OF AIR. Which last for 2 mins then the voltage drops to what seems like 1/2 that. You can immediately hit the turbo button and full blast again for 2 mins doing this the 5ah. Artery only last 10-15 mins so you better get what you have to get done if you only have one battery. At the time of this review a hart 5ah LITHIUM ION battery is about $150.00 (way to much in my opinion, it should come with 2 battery's if I had to buy it again I probably wouldn't just stick with my 2 stroke backpack blowers. But buy once cry once. It is a nice backpack blower for SMALL jobs and of course plug and play battery is always easier to maintain than mixing 2 stroke gas or 4 stroke oil changes and starting. So if you skipped to the bottom. Yes I recommend this for small patio / walkway jobs only. Just know get the job done fast you have less than 20 mins at regular power and 10-15 using turbo mode and batters are expensive. On the plus side Walmart stands behind the hart warranty should anything happen I have no doubt one of the companies Walmart-hart will make it right.

Impressive Power, Great Investment, Light Machine
I recently received the ‘HART 40-Volt Cordless Brushless Backpack Blower Kit (1) 5.0Ah Lithium-Ion Battery' for review purposes. I scored this machine 4/5 stars due to the limitation of battery life. Overall, this Backpack Blower Kit does what It is intended to and has an efficient amount of power to provide yard maintenance. If you live in an area surrounded in trees, you will want to invest in an additional battery, which can be added to the machine's second battery chamber. First things first, assembly was easy and not complicated. It is noticeably lighter and quieter than a gas-powered machine and sets well in comfort on the back. The Lithium-Ion battery that comes with the machine takes about 3-4 hours to charge from empty to full and provides approximately 40 minutes of use, utilizing the ‘Power Boost' option intermittently. Ultimately, the Hart Cordless Brushless Backpack Blower Kit will make a great addition to my fall weekend maintenance routine.
