about calf length
Hits the middle of my husband's achilles and where his knee begins. So, approximately the medial part of his calf. It's shorter than what he prefers for muck boots. But he likes that these fit his size 12.5 feet comfortably. They don't squeeze his toes or any other parts. The soles are thick and heavy. He wishes they weren't quite so heavy. He does like the durability and water-resistance feature of these boots. Thread is thick and high. Good for gripping loamy and clay soils as well as the rocky parts of our land.Recommended.

    A High Quality Boot
    This is a quality boot. It was just what I was looking for. I walk my dog in the mornings through a lot of wet grass. No more wet socks from using my old "waterproof" shoes. These boots slip on and off quite easily which is a big plus for me. They are a bit on the heavy side but it's made of quality materials. I would highly recommend them.

    A great work boot - but NOT Steel Toed
    These are a nice workbook for worksites where a Steel Toe is not required. The Rubber/Neoprene combination works AND Cleans up well, which is almost unheard of with work shoes! They're great for rainy days and wet walks to work, or working in your yard or outdoors for hunting or other sport.They hose off amazingly and the neoprene doesn't seem to absorb any dirt. I hung them on fence spokes to dry and they dried quickly and without any fading.
