Works Fine
I bought this printer/scanner a couple of months ago. It works fine. The black and white printouts are good. The color printouts are good. It does give the message, "low on ink" quite a bit. I just wait until I see a faded printout. I'm not going to keep changing ink. It's too expensive.

Design flaw and horrible customer service.
My printer stopped working due to an error message telling me the tray was open, when it was in fact closed. There were no bits of paper or any other obstructions. Upon looking into how to fix this, I learned that a LOT of people have this issue with this printer. I contacted HP support, and they refused to replace my printer because it was ONE day past the warranty period. LITERALLY, ONE DAY!

    It's a BIG no from me, dawg.
    Haven't even had it a year and this thing is annoying and I wish I could return it. It has symbols for options (no actual descriptive words so I wrote them on there) on the control board and WHEN THEY ARE LIT AND YOU CAN SEE THEM one push means this and two pushes means that and the sliding green or blue light means something magical too but who has time to refer to the manual every time you need to do something simple like print or scan? I downloaded the HP Smart app and when the app works, it IS so much easier but things rarely stay connected and you gotta constantly delete the app and reinstall it due to updates. And, it's nuts to need your phone to print when you're sitting right next to the printer on your desk with your doc? Just no and no. Like, I actually HATE it.

    Not great
    I have had this printer over a year and so far it hasn't been very reliable. The black ink doesn't last very long. I have only printed in color two times and both times it printed the wrong colors and had lines going through the pictures. The quality isn't and I would not buy this printer again.
