Color forever prints Horizontal Stripes
Do not buy this printer! I bought it on 12/09/2020. 5 months later it refuses to print solid color. Worse still, I used up new ink cartridges (and paper) attempting to troubleshoot it following all the steps in the HP playbook. Nothing! Sure, it's easy to use and setup. But that does not get you a dependable product. This is the 2nd HP printer I've had do this now.

    This printer is full of problems.
    This is the worst printer I have ever owned. It worked fine for the first couple months then went crazy as soon as it got past its return window. It's a wireless printer but it keeps constantly going "offline". When it is online, it will tell us it's online, the app will tell us it's connected and ready, the printer will show it's connected and ready, but as soon as you try to print it will tell you it doesn't have a network connection even though it clearly shows its connected to the network. It randomly prints papers on its own with a "GET/DevMgmt/MediaHandlingDyn.xm1" message constantly. It will even add pages with this message in the middle of print jobs. I tried for weeks to troubleshoot the issue using HP's support website and Google. My wife spent over 3 hours on the phone with HP customer support trying to fix these issues and they just constantly blamed Windows 10. Windows 10 has been out since July 2015. If you can't get your printers to work with a major operating system that has been out for over 6 years now, then you've got some major problems HP. Anyway, after 3 hours with HP support, the printer worked properly for that evening. When we woke up the next morning, there was a pile of over 30 pages of this "GET/DevMgmt/MediaHandlingDyn.xm1" message that had been printed randomly overnight. I went out and purchased a new Canon printer later that day. This HP 8022 is now a $140 wasted. I'll never buy another HP product again.

    Love it. Tested each feature (copy scan print fax) and all works well. It took me all of 10 min to set up. I needed a printer for work so this equip does a great job. Can't go wrong with HP.

    HP Color Printer
    It was nice to get a Color Printer,The last time I had one with Color was several years ago and finally it wore out. In my Business I would occasionally need the use of Printing something with Color. This HP office was exactly what I needed. The print quality is good, but on it's first use it got some type of network disconnect message as mentioned in another review. I have the printer at a fixed address in my network so that's not it. Now for the other concerns. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they designed the printer to have its own WiFi in addition to connecting to my WiFi. It's like they're circumventing my security. I don't need their WiFi for whatever purposes it serves. My big complaint is that this should have been a simple yes/no on the printer setup. I had to go find it to turn it off. The Next concern is that they send technical diagnostic info back to HP. They say there's no identifying information. I don't care. I don't want any info leaving my network unless I initiate it. Once again, this should have been a simple yes/no on the printer setup, but I had to go find it out for other sources. I would recommend this printer for light use and not for anything of more than 5 documents a day, I will see how long the cartridges last , normally with the New printer the cartridges are not full of ink thus needing To replace the cartridges soon after using it.

    I received the Hp Office Jet 8022 to test and review. The printer is very easy to set up and directions are easy to follow. The ink is easy to install. I love that the printer is touch screen and is very easy to use each function. You can use the printer for printing, copying, and faxing. The printer is wireless and you can download the HP smart app. This makes it so convenient and quick to use right from your mobile phone which I love. This product is great for me because I am currently working from home a couple days a week. The printer is a great edition to my home office. The printer prints very fast making my job easier. The printer has built in security which is super important for my work. This is a great printer, copier, scanner and fax machine. I absolutely love this product and would highly recommend you purchase this item.

    The set up was quick and easy. I needed my reading glasses to read the LCD screen; but the instructions were easy to follow once I could see them! The paper tray is the easiest to pull out and fill of any printer I have ever had. On set up, it printed a test page that you had to scan for calibration. It was quick, easy and worked. The scanner has good clarity. Lastly, I added it to my network. I downloaded the drivers and software directly from HP. My computer found the printer and added it.

    HP makes another quality product
    You can never go wrong with an HP product. Just the name lets you know ypur getting a quality tested piece of equipment. Personally I am always looking for another recipe and rather than hand write it on a 3 x 5 card I try to print a copy. I do most of my recipe search from my table or my cell phone, then email the recipe to myself, then print a copy from my desk top several rooms away. Those days are gone now!! All I have to do is hit the print button on the tablet screen and from a few feet away the printer picks up the wireless signal to print and presto my recipe copy slides into the printers tray. HP takes the hassle out of making a trip to the store to buy the ink!! Evetything you will need is already in the box except the paper. I could not be more pleased with my HP model 8020 printer and highly revommend it to everyone. With this printer I can make copies anywhere in the house as long as I have the wireless connection!! So convienent!!

    I use this printer on my fairly small desk in my home office. The footprint of the printer less than my previous ones, and is light enough for me to get out of the box, and set up myself. The ink cartridges are easy to get in and out, and pretty affordable. I have tried several wireless printers over the past years, and this one takes the cake. User friendly, easy set up, and the HP app makes it easy to use from my phone or other wireless device. I appreciate the built in security features which seem to be a necessity in this day in age. It prints pretty fast and the documents are crisp and clean. The paper tray can hold 225 sheets which is nice especially when printing remotely and are unable to fill it. I love being able to print remotely since most of the time I'm not actually at my desktop computer. The HP app is stupendous and turns my phone into an extention of my computer allowing me to scan documents from my phone, and save or print. I can also order more ink through the app if I choose. The screen on the printer is clear and easy to see and the touch sensitivity is great. I love this printer and would recommend it to anyone.
