Got this portable a few days ago-works great and quietly!! Nice sleek modern look. Comes with a remote that is easy to understand. So far do good!!

Flimsy and Cheap.
Although the unit seems to work adequately for now, I am disappointed in the construction and design. It is obviously not manufactured to last, only to make a quick buck. As is so often the case nowadays, the company is undoubtedly counting on consumers to simply discard the faulty machine without bothering to take the time to seek compensation. Another sad but all-too-common failure.

    So Far So Good
    I just installed the AC, so it's a bit early to judge, but this 12,000 btu unit is perfect for my 500+ SqFt apartment. One caveat: I am living in the PNW where outside temps are cooler. The unit was a breeze to unpack and setup. I do have a request to the manufacturer: longer side panels. I'm left with a 8” gap to the top of the sliding glass window. Warm air seeks cooler air; consequently, the unite works harder than necessary. Hence, the 4 stars. The sides panels maybe of perfect length in your case.

    This is a Hurricain Back-Up room AC unit
    I'm hesitant to buy this but it was a good value for what I need. I own a GE Refrigerator From HELL. On that refrigerator GE French Door Model GYE22HSKFSS have had over 10 repair visits over 20 parts replaced in 4 years. Still doesn't work correctly and we are awaitning for it to start making noises and fail again. We cannot get GE or Asurrant Warrenty companyh to replace it... I'm crossing my fingers this one works ok.

    Great choice
    I bought this AC about a month ago to replace another unit that just was not keeping up on cooling the room. This works great and has some wonderful features like the timer we use each night to auto shut off. Great buy!
