The perfect doll house for a preschooler
This house is going to be so much fun for my grandaughters that I might have to order one to have at my house. I am very impressed with the quality and how easy it was to put together. For economy, I strongly recommend getting the furnished house and then add other rooms of furniture and accessory pieces. The family of play figures is great and stimulates lots creative play and conversation. It's a winner!

Looks great, quality control poor
The slots weren't perfectly aligned, so there was a lot of jamming required to get the floors in place. Was constantly afraid that the pressure I was putting on would cause them to snap. Also, there was a round spot in the orange that looks like a drop of red/brown nail polish; likely a manufacturing defect specific to the one I got. In the end, the house came together and the defect was a small enough issue that it didn't seem worth returning for another one. Very easily could have gone the other way though.

    My family loves this product!!!
    We loved this house for our granddaughters. They were thrilled Christmas Day to receive it. Very nicely constructed with accessibility from all sides makes for fun adventures for many years. One glitch: One of the holes in connecting pieces was not correct. My husband had to redrill a new hole so it would fit properly. Otherwise a great product!

    I would but this again.
    I will using this in my play therapy room. It is well constructed and sturdy. I am impressed. The only change I would make is that it does not come with any kid bedroom furniture. Hopefully, the extra furniture that I purchased will fit and be comparable to the furniture provided.

    Great, Durable Dollhouse
    I adore this dollhouse, and cannot wait to give it to my 2 and 4 year old this Christmas. It would have been 5 stars, but one rod was bent. I still was able to assemble it completely, but that was the only bummer. Overall great product -- could use one or two more sets of stairs and a garage...

    Exceptional Dollhouse
    I am thrilled with the Hape dollhouse I purchased for my 3 year old granddaughter. Outstanding quality. Great design for younger children -- can get into each room from all sides -- perfect for little hands and for young minds just learning to play make believe. Hayneedle had the best price so I took a chance and ordered from them. So glad I did! The ordered arrived as scheduled and in tact. I will order from Hayneedle again and again, I'm sure.

    My daughter still loves it
    My daughter got it for Xmas 2 years ago. Now she is 7yo and still playing with it. We got the wooden dolls separately. She loves to arrange the furniture and fills it with her other toys and dolls. We had a lot of little visitors (boys not excluded!) and this is one of their most favorite stuff to play with. This is the only toy staying in the living room for kids to permanently play with. Doors, balcony, stairs, lamps and changeable roof are hits. Easy to assemble, easy to maintain.

    Great value! Wonderful house with lots of attention to detail chest of drawers open, bed has blanket and pillows? Roof panels can be changed for the seasons. Moveable walls allows child to change rooms. Able to access house from all sides which make palaying with a friend ugh easier.
