Great Purchase
For the price, the hangers exceeded my expectations. The color was nice, the hangers are sturdy and they match my hangers previously ordered from Amazon (a fraction of the price).

Item not as pictured. Bait and Switch!
I ordered two boxes (the same page, amazon alerted me to this fact) in 2011 and early 2012, and they were beautiful. I just ordered a box (Jan. 2013) and discovered the company, without any warning, has decided to replace the wooden bar with a plastic one. If you are buying these for the aesthetics of having all matching cherry wood in your closet, do not buy these. If you are buying these because you dislike pastic, do not buy these. I am really disappointed in both amazon and Honey-Can-Do. It's extremely disingenuous to have a picture of an all wooden hanger, keep the same product page open as when the item was an all wooden hanger, and not mention this drastic (and cheap looking) change. As a repeat customer, I'm extremely irate. I shop amazon to find what I like and then just reorder what I like. Convenient, no hassle, delivery to door. If the item is no longer available, I don't mind doing a few extra clicks until I find a new favorite in whatever category.<br><br>I only took the time to write this because nothing irritates me more than when I thought I've fulfilled a need only to have to discover the item isn't as described, at all entirely due to false and deceptive advertising, then have to go through the hassle of returning it.

I paid $14.88 per set of 24 and purchased 6 sets for a total of 144 hangers. Of the 144 hangers, about 6-10 had splinters, noticeable gouges in the finish, or cracks in the wood. One hanger was cracked through and I discarded it. Otherwise, these are beautiful and a great buy! The rubber coating on the pant rod is very nice and holds pants well in place. I'm only about halfway done transferring clothes from plastic hangers to these, so I can't attest to how they will last over time, but they look like they should last. There are no issues with mold or bad smells as some others describes. They look nice, clean, and strong. Very happy!Heidi

They are sturdy and fit perfectly on my closet rods. My only complaint is that the pants bar is plastic. I expected to receive a hanger that was completely wooden with the exception of the metal hook. Despite that, still a great hanger.Reggie

Very satisfied with the hangers! Wanted something that was cost effective, yet would make our closet look more uniform and organized! I ordered 4 boxes of 24, all were the same color, none were broken. We use them for all the items we have hanging in our closet, long sleeve and short sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, dress shirts, dresses, etc. I do have white items on them, as I am in the process of switching over all my husbands clothes to these hangers today, so I don't know yet if the color of the hangers will rub off on those white items in time, I suppose more time is needed to determine that, but so far no color is coming off, as other reviewers have mentioned. Also, some reviewers didn't seem to like the black rubberized part on the lower bar of the hanger. I actually like it, as it keeps dress pants and skirts from slipping off the hangers. In addition, it shouldn't be a surprise, as the description explains that as part of the hanger. The lighting isn't great, and I'm not done, but I snapped a few pictures to add to the review. I will be ordering more of these hangers, to complete the change over! Hopefully this review has been helpful.Wendy
