I am glad I purchased this unit was hesitant at first but it really cools my room. I have a very large bedroom and I get cold. I use a small fan in low to circulate the air around when I first turn it on. I like that you can set a timer.

What a piece of junk.
I never write reviews but since I wasted $675 on this item I thought I should at least warn everyone about this product. I paid more and bought a dual hose unit because I thought it would be the best unit, man was I wrong. 1) description states that this AC cools up to 770 Sq ft room, the room I had it in is only 400 Sq ft, room remained warm and this unit never cooled off the room. My ceiling fan did a better job. 2)Dual hose is a waste of time, blows out some warm air but most of the warm air just circulated in the room. 3) description states no need to drain, water leaks from bottom if units on for more the 12 hours. 4) while pushing unit to another area one of the bottom plastic wheels broke. I will never buy a portable AC again.

    Only lasted a year.
Only lasted a year. Looks like it is powerful but didnt cool as well as expected. It has now overheated. I used it about 10 hours a day. Disappointed for the price. I dont recommend. I have bought cheaper ones that lasted longer and cooled better.

Worth the money, and it's a workhorse.
I already own and use 2 10,000 btu units for the bedrooms. 4 years use and still working like champs. I recently moved to a smaller home and needed a bigger btu unit for an open high vaulted living room/kitchen area. This thing cools off 550 to 600 sf in no time and keeps it cool. I'm a fan of Honeywell products anyway. For me, their products last, come with understandable instructions are worth the investment. This only thing I have an issue with is that the extensions are not long enough for the window I have to use. So, for the time being, I've used cardboard and will eventually purchase a piece of 1/2 inch x 6 ft board and cut to size to fit the opening in the window and cut openings for the tubes. A minor detail that does not inhibit the unit's performance one bit. This 14000 btu unit is a workhorse and worth the money.

    AC
2nd one and I love it. Not for high ceilings or huge rooms. But works great.

    Not bad but needs improvement
I think most of these portable units are rated higher than they seem to work. Its a decent unit but for what it costs could be much better. One thing I cant stand is there is no where to put anything. When it is not in use you have a cord that doesn't have a simple place to wrap it or hang it. Then you have the vent and window panel with no where to go. Seems to me a storage panel built into it would make sense. I also do not like the vent systems they only blow upright so if you feel like some cool air blowing down at you its not happening.

    Solid AC
Great looking Portable Ac but a bit bigger than I imagined it. Still a solid air conditioner that was easy to set up and instantly cooled our bedroom with ease. Warning that this thing does have noise, which is typically what we expected like window ACs, so it doesn't bother us.

Top Rated Portable AC performs great!
Very happy w this purchase frm Walmart. Was very important to me to receive asap. Rcvd unit in 3 business days as specified on website. Driver left AC unit on driveway against house. no signature gotten as mentioned on website. Very heavy unit shipped in several sturdy boxes. I managed to carry it myself to 2nd flr, but others may need help to lift if needed. Easy assemble. Purchased this Honeywell unit w very good ratings specifically for power/size; dual vent exhaust; both AC

    No tool required for assembly
I was impressed from the moment this product was delivered. When I un-packaged the AC unit I was surprised how few parts & pieces there were. It really just required snapping a few items together, fitting it to your window and pressing the on button. I have only given it a test run so far, but when turning it on, it ran quietly and I could feel the room star cooling quickly. I'm looking forward to having this portable AC this summer when it heats up!
