Keeps your feet warm
I gave this a high rating because it is a neat little personal space heater and that is what it does. I have used it at my computer to keep my feet warm and by my bed where it is a little drafty and it warms the space around you to knock the chill off. The features I like the best are the automatic shut off if the heater is turned over or picked up since this is a huge safety concern and it has automatic shut off for over heating. The outside case is made of hard plastic that stays cool to the touch so you don't have to worry about getting burned and it also has two levels of heat and a switch at the top to turn it on and off. A cute little heater with a lot of great features that is very portable for when you need a little extra heat.

Small and compact
I received this item for my honest review. Here goes. This "heater," and I'm using that term loosely, is a big let down for what was expected of a heater. It has and "OFF," "LOW," AND "HIGH" power button on the top. I opened it up, plugged it in (because in January it was cold) in my small bath fully expecting it to heat up the room nicely. First off, I put it on "LOW" thinking it would be perfect. I could feel NOTHING coming out. Not even a little breeze. So, I switched it to "HIGH" expecting the output to be more consistent with a heater. It was on for the duration of my shower (less than 10 minutes), and I got out and felt absolutely NO difference in the air. The "barely there" air was not even warm standing directly in front of it. Mind you, it's small, but you should be something out of it on the heat side. Negligible. This Honeywell Heat Bud is not a good source of heat. If you want a "puhhhhh" of air, go for it. It is designed well, looks nice, but I would not recommend this product to anyone.

    Great For a Small Space!
I mainly got the ceramic heater to heat a small bedroom that is frequently cold since it has two outside walls on it. I liked that the design is small and the casing I chose is black, so it pretty much either fits into any décor or blends in without even being noticed. The heater is just under 7 inches tall ( I didn’t measure the width), so it really is easily portable to move within the room to sit on a desk or end table and not take up too much space. There are two heat settings “low” and “high”. Low (for me) is good for up-close heat, such as having it on a desk or when you come in from outside and need a quick heating up. High (for me) is good for longer periods of heat, as in heating up a small room or space or if multiple people are present. Neither setting really causes an annoying amount of noise really. I remember remarking that I expected it to be louder and was quite pleased that it wasn’t. A feature I really love is how the heat is not turned on unless it’s sitting on a pressure button (located on the bottom of the heater). So if it gets knocked over or falls over, it will automatically shut off. The only real dislike I have is that the casing smudges like crazy. I have yet to find a decent way to clean the finger smudges off completely, but a clean, dry cloth (that is not fuzzy) helps minimize it a bit.

    Small under desk heater
Honeywell Heat Bud Ceramic Heater (Red), I just needed something, a small little heater to keep my feet, ankles, legs, knees warm, because of my arthritis, the coldness causes me more pain. This little heater does the trick. It is not to over powering like my larger portable room heater is, and my central heat. It is small enough so not to take up a lot of space, especially under a desk, where you need room for your feet. It does not blow hard and is simple to use, such a simple small package. I hate the dryness that my central heat causes. When I get out of bed in the morning and sit at my desk with my coffee and check my email, my feet, ankles, legs and knees are warm and do not hurt as much. There is not much that will warn up hardwood floors with throw rugs but this cute little heater is perfect for my room under my desk, it does not heat up my whole room though. Why I like it better than the larger heaters, is it does not put out to much heat and run me out of the room. I is a little heater for little spaces and it does not heat more than a foot or so. I have found that hot air, blown out with a lot of force, seems cold once it reaches its destination, over a couple of feet or so. I like the angle it has, so it could work on top of your night stand to, if you are sitting on your bed. I also like the long cord it has so it reaches a good distance from any wall outlet. It is very sturdy and if it gets knocked over it has a trip button on the bottom of the unit, so the heater will not work if it is not standing up, so it shuts off immediately. My little Yorkie likes it, she likes to sit in front of it to get warm. So let me be clear, when I say I needed a little help to keep my feet, ankles, legs and knees warm, and this little unit is not over powering, I mean just what I say. It does not give off a real hot heat. I do need it close to me feet, I need them right in front of it, or to the side so I do not knock it over, lol. With the angle the heat goes slightly up, definitely not down. Also, even though it does not blow strong, you can still hear the blower motor (fan) still blowing. So yes I would recommend this to any one who needs a little something under their desk.

    Not a good heater
If I am using a heater, it is because I am cold and want to be warm. This mini heater does not do the job. I was trying to use it in my tiny bathroom (5 ft X 6 ft, not including tub) while bathing. It did not do the job. Even though it is a ceramic heater, it just did not have enough output. The only way I felt warmth using this heater is by sitting no more than 8 inches directly in front of it. I know it is called a personal heater but, enough is enough. I don't want to hug the thing. I actually got better results getting warm by using a plain hair dryer than this heater. The unit stands about 9 1/2 inches tall, about 4 1/4 inches wide, and about 5 inches deep. I chose a standard black color. Although, it does come in red or blue also. The cord is a little over 6 feet long. It had a "high", "low", and "off" button on the top of the heater. I could not tell a difference in the high or low setting. Honestly, I could not tell if it was on unless I was directly in front of it about 8 inches close to it. The heater did have one nice feature about it though, it had a tip over switch on the bottom. In case the heater fell over or was knocked over, it shut off.

    Works very well
I like how small this small space heater is. The old one I had was bigger and bulkier and wasn’t heating well any longer. This one is smaller and more efficient and heats better than my old one. The first time using, it does have a little burning plastic smell, but it doesn’t last long. The black color blends in well with my desk so it doesn’t stand out. The front is a black matte color and a more shine to the black on the rest of the heater. It is about 7 inches tall, 4 ¼ inches wide and 5 ½ inches at it’s deepest point. The heater has a tip safety feature, so if it gets tipped, it will turn off. The on switch with 2 fan speeds (high and low) is on the top, easy to reach down to adjust. It warms a small space very quickly. There are warnings on the manual that it will get hot to the touch, but I have not found this to be true. I’ve let it run for quite awhile, and the heater does not feel hot to me. But still, be careful, there must be a reason they have the warning, I just haven’t found it an issue. The heater has a quiet hum, it is not loud, which is great, especially for a work space.

    Perfect for desktops, office
Perfect as a small heater for use in an office, on your desk, or your personal spaces. It is only intended to use on floors, desktops, and table tops, not in bathrooms or laundry areas that are damp or wet. I work from my home office. My desk is at a window and sometimes my feet get chilly when the room temperature is comfortable. I found this little heater perfect for warming my feet. It has 2 energy saving heat settings: High/250 watts, Low/170 watts. It has an over heat protection safety shutoff feature and a tip-over switch to turn off unit if tipped over. The housing is cool to touch during operation. It does have a visible heat element with safety grate. Simple on/off, high/low switch. It measures 4"x5.7"x6.5". For a small heater it puts out a lot of heat in a designated area! Made in China. 3 yr limited warranty.

What I like about this heater is how quite it is and has a long cord. It is simple to use and is a great way to keep to keep you warm especially your feet. Turn it on when you need to and cut it off when you are done because it has no thermostat. It is durable, easy to use, easy to clean and a cool modern design. The over heat protection gives you peace of mind. Great for warming your feet but if you want to warm above your feet you will have to put the heater up higher. I would buy this product because my feet stay cold. It is a good value for the price. This heater also comes in other fun colors. It would be great to use at work, home or school. I have no negative comments only positive ones.

    Cute little heater
First of all, this is NOT meant to be a room heater, by any means. It is 7" height, 4" wide and 6" depth ( base). It is meant to heat a small space. I placed it on my desk in an open air area. It throws heat about 12" away on the high setting, 8" on the low setting. It also is angled upward, so it can be used on the floor, under the desk. The heater has 2 heat settings only. Low and High. This makes it simple to operate. It also has a safety button on the bottom. If the heater falls over it turns itself off. Keeping it on a solid table top or floor is a must. Other than the fact keeping it on carpet is dangerous to begin with, this also ensures that it will not tip over easily. I even put it on an angled solid wedge and it remained stable. The angle was not huge, but I wanted to see how quickly it would tip over. The rubber feet on the base helps tremendously on this point. I placed this under my desk. Boy, were my feet toasty. In a small enclosed area, this works to its optimum potential. I also placed it on a table in my bathroom. I dried off and got dressed. I then proceeded to towel dry my hair. The heater worked very well to take away the cold edge in the enclosed bathroom. When I sat to towel dry my hair, it kept my shoulders and head warmer and more comfortable. It does have a guard on the front. As long as you do not directly touch the guard for any length of time, you should not be burned, I am really liking this little heater. I will be trying it out in kitchen next.
