Heck, what are store returns for!
It's an ingenius idea to have the system rigged to the trailer connector -- except that the connectors are not universal and won't fit my 4runner. Their tech support is not helpful either and very condescending with words "that would be simple" when I asked for an adapter. Had to reluctantly return and order a Pyle back up system which turn out to be cheaper with double camera to boot for my truck and RV.

    Worth every penny!
    Very easy to install with excellent instructions and the best part is no more dents or dings in my bumper and no more getting out of the cab to realign the ball and hitch! Wish I had one of these years ago!

    Replacement camera
    This works very well. However i purchased this unit to replace one just like it that i purchased several years ago. That unit quit working and when i removed the license plate portion and opened it it was full of water and the parts inside had rusted. Per the internet chats that is a problem and many others have had the same situation. I purchased another one as the wires were run, it worked fine until it quit etc.

    Very pleased
    The hardest part of installing is running the wire along the frame from the bumper to the cab. The camera shows the hitch and lines you up perfectly.

    Hopkins Hitch Sensor
    Fairly easy installation on a 2012 Silverado short bed with plenty of cable left over. Plug and play connection made that part a snap. I have had over a week and so far, so good. Makes trailer hitch alignment a 1 trip process, which is what I was looking for. Other objects further away are not quite so easy to judge.

    Easy To Re-install. Circuit board got water in it and the backup feature that beeps quit working. It was out of warranty. So I ordered another one and re-installed it. Purchased 2 year warranty from Walmart for $9.00. Hopefully this one will last longer.

    Great product/ great service
    The backup hitch cam works great and easy DIY installation and instructions. Video is crystal clear. Only problem is the supplied cable was too short for My 2011 F150 Supercrew. Called support and they sent a cable extension, arrived in 2 days and no charge!
