Great board
It is amazing. It is so fast. It doesn't hurt his feet like the last ones he owned. It looks so awesome, it even makes his little brother jealous. I have never had any hoverboard that is better than this one. I recommend this to everybody because your just going to love it. The only thing I can really complain about is that it does take what seems like an unreasonably long time to charge but when charged it lasts about 45 minutes. I love the way the lights light up on the side of the wheels and the back. It is more lightweight than his last one. It isn't as loud as the older one, it is his favorite color and it is so much faster than the one he had before. It is super easy to steer and maneuver around. It runs well on carpet and linoleum. He has never taken it outside so I don't know how it would run on asphalt. I hope that this one lasts longer than the last one I bought him which only lasted about six months, but since I've only had this for a week or so I can't comments on how long it will last. Not sure if I would buy one for my other son until we find out how long this one lasts but he wants one because of how fast it is. I would highly recommend this based on what I know so far. When it got here it was mostly charged and did not take long to fully charge at all. When it runs all the way down it does take quite a while to charge though, like 4 or 5 hours.

dont buy
got this for my granddaughter for Christmas 4 mouths ago n she only used it inside n now it wont go charge it n step on it n all it does is beep n light stays blue on it we calibrated it and it still don't work just beeps when u step on it

    this hover 1 rebel hoverboard will be loads of fun for the kids. this one is black, has a power button and charging port. comes with all the instructions you need to use it.has lights that come on after its charged.comes with a plug into your outlet charger. has a battery indicator for when its low on charge. weighs under 13 lbs. can handle up to 130 lbs. charge will last up to 7 hrs. i think its a really cool ride for older kids. exciting. just make sure there is someone with them when learning to ride it.

    Good value and a quality toy
    I am reviewing the Hover-1 Rebel Kids Hoverboard w/ LED Headlight, 6 m Max Speed, 130 lbs Max Weight, 3 Miles Max Distance – Black. My 14 year old daughter has been enjoying this new toy. She fits under the weight limit. This weekend I watched her master this device and have a few observations. The packaging is great! The documentation included is quite good. It was easy to charge and then take it outside for a test run. We did not run it continuously to see how long the batteries last. Nor did we test the 3 mile range. That would be a boring, slow trip. We live near the beach. So a test of the 5 degree incline capability would not be possible. She took multiple trips around the parking lot and got more comfortable turning and reversing course. This is her first experience with a hoverboard. I can say it took two hours to get the confidence and skills necessary to smoothly ride the board. The most difficult task is to step on and start riding. Once moving, it seems rather easy. Last night she took the board outside and showed me how it lights up. There are many flashing led lights on the front and sides of the board. It was a great little show. The board seems to roll best on the really smooth areas of the parking lot. Bumps and loose gravel make the ride unstable. Maybe part of that problem is lack of confidence by the operator. Time will tell. Her next goal is to use the board while walking the dog. It is a 10 lb. Dog, so it may actually work. So in summary: Great package, interesting color, fun times.

    This is a great hoverboard. At first, the kids were apprehensive, but the moment they saw my husband try it out, they immediately wanted their turn. (He is not even close to the weight limit, so I was impressed that it worked well for him.) It looks cool and the blue lights are awesome. The kids put on their helmets and pads and were off. It takes a few minutes to learn how to use it and to gain confidence on it, but the kids quickly learned how to use it within the first session. It has a smooth, sturdy ride and is super responsive. It is really forgiving: they've used it standing forward and standing backwards on it and it worked great both ways. It has a strong chemical smell, so we keep it outside and charge it in the garage. I would definitely recommend this and now I have to look for one for my husband.

    Fun for the kids
    Takes a few hours for a full charge, but only took about 5 to 10 minutes to master for the kids. My 8 year old nephew was a pro on it with in 10 minutes and had never ridden one before. Grips and maneuvers well. It's a very smooth ride on a smooth surface, but takes a bit more on rougher surfaces to get the hang of it. It's hard to keep the kids from cruising through the house on it..lol Definitely fun and so far worth it.

    Arrived very well packaged, solid. First impressions are, Very sturdy and well made. The plastics are strong not thin or flimsy. Wheels are rubber solid not plastic wheels. Feet pads are rubber also with grooves to prevent slipping. Parts move easily with no problems or sounds. Like the headlights. It's charging now to get a full charge. Green light on so ready to go. Must have had a charge still in it from shipping because fully charged in 4 hours. This is an awesome great gift for my teens to keep them active and off their video games for awhile. Great indoor and outdoor exercise. They absolutely love it. It's easy to balance and maneuver around corners. Fun to take dog for a walk too lol. Really smooth ride and turns. The kids are thrilled and excited to take turns riding. Worked well on carpet and really fast on tile. Took outside on the sidewalks and had fun zipping up and down the walks. It only took a short trial before getting the hang of it. Started in the hall to learn by holding on to the walls. Can't believe how smooth it rides and turns on a dime. This has been hours of fun for the kids. Speed is good as they zoom around. I can't find anything I don't like about the Rebel. This is a terrific gift for young teens and kids. You'll love it too!

    This is a pretty good toy for kids
    The hoverboard is pretty fun to play with. It takes no time for my son to get used to it and have some fun. But the max range is only 3 miles. He is approaching the upper limit for weight at 120 lbs. The battery will run out quickly with him on it. I think it lasts about 2 miles max. He cannot ride it to the baseball practice with all the gears. A larger board with more battery might work better for him. But this is not the board's fault. It should work much better for smaller kids.

    Super fun and exciting!
    This Rebel Hover-1 Electric Scooter is made for children up to 130 lbs. it's LED lights are bright and colorful. It comes with a charging cable and an Operation Manual. The manual is packed full with great information and is worth the read. I love the colorful LED lights in the wheels. It is really quiet and a full battery charge of 7 hours can last for a 3 mile ride. The ride is smooth and the scooter can be maneuvered by just shifting body weight from side to side and front to back. It works best on a smooth surface. Guaranteed hours of fun.

    Recommended for Little kids
    This hover board is cool, however the max speed is low and the max weight is 130lbs. We haven't tried riding on it yet as it has to charge up a bit more. The kids will enjoy it. We just hope it lasts longer than the other brands we've purchased in the past. One of my girls broke hers, so this will be a replacement for her. We do recommend for smaller kids, not so much for teenagers just based on the specs. This could change in the future.

    We just got this earlier today and tried it out!! We let it charge for 4 hours and gave it a spin. This is so much better than our other hoverboard! The lights light up on the wheels (rainbow) and also the front of it, like headlights (I think that just does blue though). It's not massive and clunky and my 14 year old son had a nice easy time balancing on it. He said he loved this hoverboard way better than our old one. We didn't have any charging issues, battery or lights issues, seems to be of good weight and quality and my kid loves it so A+ so far!!!
