Worthless fish finder
Humminbird Helix 5" G2 Chirp Fishfinder with GPS 410210-1 is a worthless fish finder. Its not a user friendly fish finder either. It's to difficult in spotting fish on the screen. Would not recommend this product. If I could it would be zero stars.

    solves a common issue without breaking the bank
    A great until as a backup on front of flats boats Keeps you positioned on key structure a lot better in open water No more running to the back of the boat to check depth or map positions Small size eliminates a lot of front deck clutter

    Great Unit
    This Hummingbird Helix 5 is perfect for my needs. I run on the Wolf river sometimes and the depth finder comes in very handy, especially in late summer when the water is low. Also being able to set up waypoints to get back to that favorite spot is great. This is a very advanced unit with to many bells and whistles to mention. I recommend this unity.

    Great graph with CHIRP and GPS
    I just got this hooked up on my boat, not been on the water with it yet, but I do have a Helix 5 DI on the bow with a trolling motor mounted transducer that I ran last year. They are awesome graphs for the weekend fisherman. They both have GPS and lake maps of the places I fish already loaded. The menu is simple enough and the graphics are CHIRP which provides a little more detail in the 2D sonar mode. Very nice graph for the money that would have cost a lot more when CHIRP first came out. The down imaging (DI) is a plus to consider that would add another $50 - $75 to this model and Side Imaging (SI) on the Helix 5 would also be nice but those are a little more expensive as well. This unit as purchased provides a good GPS feature that you can upgrade with other mapping software, a very good 2D sonar image with CHIRP, at a price that very affordable. Warning, the kit does not contain any screws, nuts, or bolts. I would recommend stainless steel fasteners. It does have the nimble mount but I also recommend a Ram mount on 1.5 balls. Ram makes two mounts specifically for this graph, the 1.5 inch is a sturdier mount. The transducer that comes with the kit is a transom mounted unit but if you want to mount to a trolling motor Humminbird will trade you transducers if you don't open the sealed bag.

    I love the lake map capability. No more concerns about getting back to ramp even after dark. The sonar is great as well. Love the split screen capability.
