Hyper Tough Shelving will solve your storage needs
This is a great product. It was easy to put together. I am looking forward to putting it in my utility room and move items from a 4 shelf unit to this 5 shelf which will give me "MORE" room!! I would purchase this product again. Shelves are a perfect size for my needs. I also like the fact that each shelf will hold up to 70 lbs.

product collapsed after the first day. weight was evenly distributed. spoke with others who also had the same experience. and others that had to add support bracing.

    Affordable Shelf Not To Sturdy
    This shelf unit was fairly easy to assemble. I used a mallet to make sure the shelf supports stayed in place. I do have a few concerns with this unit, especially if you have a small child. The whole unit only weighs around 15 pounds, and it's a little wobbly. I can see this tumbling over if a child tries to reach for something. There appears to be some small holes on the shelves, which may be to anchor it to a wall, however this is not mentioned on the product label and no screws are enclosed. Also, the weight capacity is 70 pounds for each shelf, and that doesn't make much sense to me, especially since it sways real easy. My intent is to use this for crafts, so I'll have to see if it holds up.

    Great Shelves
    My garage was getting pretty cluttered but I didn't want to spend so much money. I'm really glad I came across these shelves. They are super easy to assemble and is sturdy enough to hold everything I have. I was iffy at first about its sturdiness but as I started stacking more %26 more things the shelves held up very nicely. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble. The entire shelf is light weight and is easy to move around. I wouldn't recommend putting this outside unless you anchor it to the wall.

    FABULOUS product! The Hyper Tough Shelving Unit is easy to assemble and extremely sturdy. I am a wife and Mom who loves decorating our home for all the holidays, and this shelving unit holds my bins of holiday decor perfectly. I will be purchasing another one to organize my son's athletic gear for his high school and club sports. It is great for both our storage room and detached garage, the durable plastic will withstand potential dampness and the seasonal temperature fluctuations that we experience in the Midwest. Highly recommend!

    Fabulous and sturdy storage shelves
    I am a single mom and I am recently an empty nester . I needed to organize my crafts , holiday bins and basic items that were not for everyday use . The package arrived quickly and it was shocking how easy it was to set up . It is so sturdy . I have my sewing machine , knitting , scrap booking bins all accessible and organized . I even have room for the holiday bins ! The plastic is easy to clean and it looks great ! I love these shelves it was so easy to order from Walmart . It was delivered to my door and set up in an hour ! I recommend these shelves to anyone who loves to be organized .f

    Budget option for basement/garage type thing
    - Made in USA - Rated for 70# per shelf - Says no tools required but you'll need a hammer or mallet Not that impressive unless it's a budget option. I can't see a price so I don't know. The issue I have is that the plastic used seems to be fairly brittle. There were several pieces broken off here n there, along the corners and edges though the box was undamaged. There's a sheet in the box wanting you to contact them for replacement before you review but I don't think that's kosher. You should know there's a possibility you'd have to put more time and effort into it. Having said all that, the support structure under each shelf is good. 70# per shelf is a respectable rating and it does seem to hold it well. I can't really recommend it but I can't say they should be avoided, either. I think it very much depends on price, what you want to put on them, and, if you care about looks, where you want to put it. I think these would be fine in a garage/shed or greenhouse, maybe a carport or basement storage room.

    Not my favorite
    I am not sure that I am a fan of these shelves. They are in the color black with five shelves. It is a thin shelving system and could certainly fit into a snug spot, which I like about it. It was very easy to assemble, and just required me to place the shelves on top of the poles. I pressed them in without much strength that I had to use to push, so that is why I say it is easy to assemble. I did not have to use any tools to assemble it. The thing I do not like about htem is they are made a a flimsy type of plastic and they do not seem thick or sturdy, which is ironic considering the brand is called Hyper Tough. A few shelves have already cracked on their edges in several spots and I am not someone that is rough with my belongings. I worry about putting too much weight on its shelves. It certainly needs weight on the bottom most shelf that sits on the ground in order to anchor it into place and help make it more sturdy too. I do not like that bottom shelve because I think animals can crawl up onto it easily in the garage which is where I will ultimately put it. Also it will be easy for dirt to get on that shelf. It can be mounted to the wall, which is very good because it sways easily stnading by itself. I certainly need to mount mine to the wall because it is already leaning to the side even though it has nothing currently on its 4 tops shelves. I do not expect these shelves to last.

    Good enough for extra storage
    I find these shelves very useful. I am using it for extra storage space in a hidden area in my bedroom, and it fits very nicely in the corner. It came in pieces and needed to be assembled. Assembly wasn't an easy job for me; my husband advised me to use a rubber hummer to help put the rods in its socket, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do it (that was the only tool I needed for assembly). The front of the shelf is structurally different from the back, which is what made the instructions confusing at first, so be aware. Also, the shelf is currently standing on carpet, which makes it slightly wobbly. On hardwood floors, it is very stable. Otherwise, the shelving is spacious and has the perfect dimensions for extra storage in my room. I recommend to family and friends and will buy again.

    Light weight but mighty
    Hyper tough did well when they made this self system. This is very simple to put together. It’s literally pegs and bases. You don’t red to push hard to get this to fully level but you can just apply your body weight to each levels self and it will be enough to get the pegs (uprights) to slide into place. The packaging paper says each self will hold 70lbs each. I have tested it and it will most certainly hold that much. The entire shelf system only weighs a couple pounds. If you need a light weight but mighty I highly recommend this. I have to mention this system when put all together is taller than I am! It doesn’t have to be- you could have 2 shorter shelves but this does give you lots of storage room!

    Sturdy shelving
    I use this shelf in my home studio to hold robs if faux flowers and greenery. Has been the best way I found to hold them and since it us tall, it really holds a lot. Even fully loaded, there was no sway in this unit. I will probably get another one to hold some of my other supplies.
