Great quality for price
I did so much research on baby monitors, it took weeks to make a decision. I wanted one that was a closed circuit, not wifi, had good night vision, and you could tilt/move the camera from the parent unit remotely. This does it all! And it does it well. Set up is easy, the camera is already paired to the monitor. Picture quality is great, battery life is normal. I wish it did come with two cameras but another camera is $90 on Amazon.. not too bad. Some of the other brands I couldn't even find a second camera anywhere online even though they said they support multiple cameras. It's pricey but it's been great so far!

STAY AWAY!
I know it has thousands of great reviews and is consitently ranked the best baby monitor, but dont be fooled! The company used to offer a free add-on camera to anyone who wrote a review. And the websites that are giving it high marks aren’t using it over an extended period of time. This baby monitor is great ... for the first month or so. At that point you’ll start noticing that the image quality in night mode isn’t as sharp as it used to be. You’ll convince yourself that it’s nothing ... and then slowly over time the image quality will degrade to the point that the system is practically unusable (can you see the stuffed animal in the crib in the attached picture? No? Imagine that was your baby). When I reached that point, I contacted customer service and they sent me a new camera (I had to pay for shipping to return the old one). Everything was great for a month, and then the exact same thing started to happen. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Do NOT spend the small fortune is costs to buy this monitor. When it works well, it may be one of the best monitors on the market, but that will only be true for a couple of months. Go with something that’s cheaper, even if the image quality isn’t as great. Trust me, it will work better in the long run.

    Doesn't look new, package dented. Beware
    This expensive baby monitor came not in a padded box but just wrapped in brown paper. The box is dented and I'm worried it is broken. And even if not, it looks like a used monitor and this is a gift for a baby shower. I demand a replacement (a new monitor, not used!) without having to pay for shipping.

    misleading price
    Bought on a registry that offers 3 prices at 3 retailors. Stated 165.00 but charged $254.78 from walmart. All 3 retailors had the same price. This will be returned as Babylist and Amazon and also Target is 165.00

    Terrible customer service - Send used item
    Awful customer service. This was purchased as a baby shower gift. Unfortunately, the gift recipient opened the package 10 days after the 90 day return police was up. The item in the box was a used, returned and BROKEN monitor. There was obvious use of the monitor. I asked for the item to be exchanged, provided pictures, explaining it was a gift, etc., and they would not budge or offer any sort of exchange or money back. AGAIN - I ordered a NEW baby monitor, not a used one.

    Hoping it works better than package looked
    I bought this with friends for shower gift. The box was not in the best of shape and had been opened. I didn't catch that it was from a third party seller. I am debating getting the extended warranty for those reasons.

    good product, but I received a used one.
    The product is easy to set up and use. I like the product very much. However, it seems like someone used it before because it was a little dusty and has writing on the charger. I am a little disappointed because it's an expensive product, I really want to get a new one.........and they sent me the one that other customer returned. I have to say, the product has no issues and it is good.

    AllI wanted was a reliable video monitor
    All I wanted was a reliable monitor as I have already been through 4 monitors (1 Motorola, 3 infant optics) in 3 years with 3 kids 3 and under. I settled with the reduced video quality of the infant optics because the reviews were overall more positive than motorola. I am on my third infant optics monitor in 1 year because they simple stopped turning on for no explainable reason. The first camera I dealt with the extended warrantee company I think no longer services Walmart (I bought a new plan through Allstate since then). What a nightmare. My most recent camera I had the pleasure of dealing directly with the infant optics company since I only had the camera for 3 months. Much better customer service and they sent me a replacement within a week of when it stopped working as opposed to a month through extended warrantee. Bottom line, I just dont believe electronics are built to last anymore.

    Broken Charging Cord
    Overall I love this monitor! Great for our use. We got it in October and it's now January. Our two complaints now that we've used it - the battery life of the parent monitor is not good so we have to plug it in often. That wasn't too hard to overcome - we just brought both around the house when needed. But now, 2.5 months of use the charging cord stopped working. I don't know what we can do. Hopefully the company can send a new one.
