Perfect size for two people!
Very efficient use of lump charcoal, cooks everything perfectly. Great companion to full size Kamado Joe. Built a moveable stand to be able to move it easily.

Broken Firebox
When we unboxed the grill, we found a large chip broken in the firebox. We have requested a replacement firebox from Walmart and awaiting reply

    Kabroken Joe. Product came damaged. Walmart would not support an exchange and told me to purchase another one to price match. The next customer representative says they don't price match. Now I have to haul this Kabroken Joe to the store just to get my refund. Don't purchase here if you want a working grill.

    I love kamado joe ! Great quality grills . I still own the classic . Only down fall is a lot of times they shatter during transport. And it's not kamado Joe's fault its walmart and fed ex

    Either poor shipping or selling damaged units.
    I was excited to try one out, didn't come in great shape. No option for replacement so overall pretty unhappy.

    Delivered broken
    Delivered with multiple dents in the packaging despite fragile labels on the outside. Inside, the fire ring was found broken in multiple pieces. My only option to resolve this is to return the item, which is a huge hassle given the weight. I don't want to return it as Istill want the grill, i just want it delivered intact like i paid for. There is no option for partial reimbursement so i can order a replacement part. I decided to spend another $50 and have a replacement part shipped from the kamado joe website. If pricing is similar between walmart and another store/website i would definitely go with the other website, especially if it has a better customer service policy.

    After waiting a week for this to deliver, I received a broken item probably because the Fedex delivery guy dropped it so hard on the ground. Just unbelievable service. Very disappointed. All of my time wasted.

    Poor delivery service.
    I'm sure that it's nothing wrong with the product itself,except at arrival the crate was wobbly and when we opened it the bbq was in pieces,that is definitely the FedEx s negligence,it's hard to believe that the shipper would be so superficial with the packing.Fedex should be held liable for the tremendous amount of damages they cause with so many people.Simply use a company that actually appreciates that they have work.

    Smashed Joe Jr. Anyone?
    Dude! Walmart sent me this item and the ceramic part was completely smashed. Whoever sent it clearly did not look inside the box at all or/ they did it on purpose. What a waste of time and my energy. Never will I buy an item like this from them again. Un-friggin-believeable!

    Terrible shipment and delivery
    Be very careful with shipping. Can't comment on its use as we just received. Driver dropped the grill on the street with box opened. Brought to door with chips. Never spoke and not apologetic. Driver had to make 3 more trips to truck to get the rest of the items, styrofoam and box as we insisted. Very very disappointed as this was early gift for hubby. Need to get top replaced or paint and chip repair sent. Given our age and it's weight, tough for us to return which is why we ordered online. Very very disappointed.
