Defective
It was a good price but four of the posts came defective (see the photos) as some of other reviewers mentioned and I had to return it. Poor quality!!

    The poles fit both ways; do it right or do over.
    Directions should explain how the poles fit. I had to wiggle and turn them in. I also cracked one of the shelves pulling it up and out of the box. I had to lay the box on the side and slide them out one by one. They will work ok for me - storing mostly holiday decor, nothing too heavy. Plastic didn't used to be so expensive...

    Taller and a bit wobbly, Ok for price
    This shelf is definitely taller than 56". Its more like 60.5" (which is a minus in my book, since I wanted the shelf to be shorter than 60"). The connecting pieces are not snug fits either. Plus, the instructions seemed reverse for putting this shelf together. The shelf is also wobbly once built (which makes me nervous, since I have cats that will no doubt jump on this thing and could shake stuff potentially off that I place on it). I'm hoping its more stable with weighted items placed on it (or maybe without the feet in place, which might also make it shorter). For the price this shelf is ok, but I think I might stick to purchasing something like this in-store (especially since I wanted a shelf like this to be more exact than described online for the height).

    600lbs? NOT!
    I bought 2 of these for storage. The weight capacity of the shelves and height specifically. I put up the first one a week ago. There is barely anything on the shelves and it has begun to buckle.

    easy assemble, light weight, durable
    I am happy with this purchase. It's easy to assemble, light weight, and durable. Easy to wipe down. downside, the supports aren't completely straight, but haven't been a problem. It will probably shorten the life of it though. It's a bit ugly, like an uneven matte dark grey/black, if you care what it looks like.

    Good for the price.
    It took me 20 minutes to put 2 units together. I used a hammer to set the shelves on the posts better. The package had 1 extra leg post, and short a foot. That was odd. But for the price these are great shelves for my closet. Fit perfectly snug in the closet.

    Good for lightweight garage storage
    Great for lightweight garage storage and was very easy to assemble. I am please with these shelves for the price. They are plastic so I probably would use for very heavy items but perfect for what I needed it for! I would have given 5 stars but one connection piece arrived warped/melted. It would have been such a hassle to exchange that I was able to force it together so it still worked.
