Awesome Coffee
I love the fact that you can make a single cup of coffee, hot chocolate, tea, or whatever you want in the K-cup side and also make a pot of coffee for multiple people at the same time. For a larger gathering or get together sometimes people want different things. Or you have kids who want to not be left out so they can make their own drinks. Once your have your coffee in your cup you can add creamers and sweeteners for an endless array of different hot drinks. Over all the Keurig is simple and easy to use. You do need to read the directions before just jumping in. It is suggested you run clear water through for your first single cup as well as the first pot of coffee. I think it called it a cleansing cycle. I also noticed it said DO NOT use distilled water. Not sure why but I would not want to mess my machine up. You do have to select (oz) or (cup) each time and then select the size for your drink. It does take a few seconds for the brewing to start for both the pot and the single cup. So don't get excited just be patient. When you first unbox it and look at your new machine it can seem a bit intimidating but once you use it one time it is really simple. I had a bit of a problem getting the tray with the coffee grounds to slide in to the slot. Guess you have to have it lined up just right. :D I have made single cups of drink, pots of coffee as well as a pot of tea with my Keurig. I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family. I have seen rumors online about how you can only use special Keurig K-cups in the Keurig machine. This is not true. Any of the K-Cups will work. If you look at my attached pictures you will see how it looks and there is room to make a single cup while having a pot of coffee at the same time. Also after a while the burner (warmer) will turn itself off so if you forget to cut it off before you leave it will turn it off for you.

They gave me previously used product. There was still liquid in the container. They should have marked this down and sold it used and not pass this on to some unsuspecting customer thinking it's brand new!

    problems with the power button
when I'm am making a pot of coffee sometimes I have to unplug the pot in order to get the Cup selection lights to go on, when using the single cup after making two cups the power light will go off and I have to press power bottom again and then after I make two more cups of coffee again I have to turn the power on, overnight when the unit has been standing press power and will take almost 10 minutes to heat up before the cup selection buttons will come on, other times power light will go on and have to unplug to get the cup selection buttons to light up. Been using a single cup until since I was doing demonstration in Macy's . My first dual unit will be returning soon. Just waiting for Sunday to have the time.

    How unfortunate short term.
this coffee pot worked good when u first got it, I had it for just a few days short of 6 months. got up this morning and it didn't work. no lights lit up, completely dead. so I guess this coffee pot is awesome for a short term use, but it's have loved it to last me at least a few years. it last me 5 months

Best machine I ever owned. Don't forget the filter
At first I did not like it because it was a little different than my old 2.0. It is a little tricky at first learning the features. It has a one touch brewing system. It does not come with filters. You press the button and select the desired cup size. It goes right from there. Before I had to heat then wait then select. I like making a full pot at times and the old 2.0 carafe is not heated so the coffee would not stay warm. This one heats then shuts off automatically. No settings to worry about. I really like the options. It was a good birthday present to myself. The best of both worlds.

Been wanting for a while, so glad I finall got it!
So far I'm loving it. I've been wanting to upgrade to this for at least a year and we were having a house full of people last week and a party so we finally bit the bullet and got it and I'm so glad we did! Took a little bit to figure out the different buttons because apparently we don't know how to read the instructions haha it is a little weird because the blue lights go out pretty quickly so I find myself having to turn it on again when our old keurig would stay lit up green for a while. But it's super fast and brewing pretty soon after hitting the oz or cups buttons.

Best Coffee Maker we have had.
I got this as a birthday gift for my husband because we are big coffee lovers at home. We had a k-cup coffee maker already but he saw this once at walmart and loved it. When he saw what he got for his bday he was excited and plugged it right up and made some coffee. We tried both areas, doing a single serve and also 8 cups of coffee. After running it with clean water first ofcourse. It worked great both ways perfectly. He loves the fact that in the mornings when he wakes up before me he can just make a single cup for himself. And at night when we are all together we can do the 8 -10-12 cups with the Carafe. And also when you are doing the Carafe and you dont want to wait for the full thing to fill you can pull out the Carafe and pour yourself a cup fast since you have a few seconds where it pauses the drip for you when removed. It is not bulky at all, it fits perfectly at the same spot we had the other K-cup coffee maker. The other one we had was also Keurig, amazing brand. I love there products. Over all This is the way to go...Hubby Loves it

    Hit or Miss
Dont know if its me or the coffee, aker. I always end up with grounds in the pot. They reccommend tablespoons for the carafe. Way too much,,,,had major explosion. 2nd time I used teaspoon per cup ..another major explosion. Maybe the water is coming in too fast ? Love the one cup side .. coffee is hot. Brews fast. Maybe its something im doing wrong. Put 6 tsps in filter basket. I also have poor eyesight and have trouble getting the filter basket in place. Someone has to do it for me.

    Love the options! Your Choice!
Whether you need hot water for tea or hot chocolate, or you prefer one type of coffee for a single serving and need a carafe for a group, this Keurig K-Duo fits the bill! You can use single serve pods or loose grounds from the same machine!! The space requirements are minimal, considering this is two-coffee makers-in-one! We love it and look forward to a delicious brew every time! Although having the water reservoir in the rear does make it little harder to refill, it is a large volume, so we get several cups or multiple carafes before it needs filling. We do like the fact that both brewers share the water reservoir, so water doesn't "sit on the less used side" (if there is one) ♥

    KEURIG Converts For Life!
We received our new Keurig K-Duo Essentials Coffee Maker, with Single Serve K-Cup Pod and 12 Cup Carafe Brewer in Black yesterday and couldn't wait to get it set up! This was a big upgrade from our single serve generic brand coffee machine that took forever to brew just one cup of coffee. The set up was super easy with the included clear and easy step-by-step instructions to do a cleaning brew first for both the single serve and the carafe, and then the easy peasy directions to brew a single cup or a carafe. OMG you guys! This machine is amazing! The temperature of the coffee was perfection, and this was important to us as our last machine barely made the coffee hot—I would have to reheat freshly made coffee. We couldn't believe how fast it brewed a single cup and the carafe! The coffee came out great and we will never be able to go back to a cheap $20 machine again. I was a little surprised at how large the machine was (we have a small home with not a ton of counter space) but we gave it the corner spot which is the most spacious and it looks beautiful. The coolest feature is the way the brew sizes are set up—you choose either a single cup or carafe, and then choose your brew size: for a cup it's either 8, 10, or 12 ounces, and for the carafe it's either 8, 10, or 12 cups...the fact that the numbers are the same works really well so the buttons are not crowded with a ton of buttons...I thought that was neat. I think we are officially KEURIG converts for life! Way to go KEURIG!
