Wouldnt buy koolatron again
Walmart was great....koolatron not so much....had it for 2 weeks and it screwed up....returned to walmart got money back into bank next day.

    Quiet, effective and sleek visual appeal
    The fridge is great. It is very quiet, cools and keeps the temperature stable and has a simple and elegant display. One minor issue is that it is designed to fit standard wine bottles. Tall, thin white wines need to be pushed back to sit on the back rail and fatter or unusual shaped red don't fit or are difficult to insert or remove from the fridge. One way to mitigate this to keep the fatter bottles to the sides of the fridge so they don't squeeze the other bottles above and below.

    Nice Wine Cooler
    We did not give the Koolatron 5 stars because it arrived with a dent on the lower left side and back which does not seem to affect the performance. We have only owned this cooler for less than a month but so far it is working as expected and keeps our red wines at the perfect serving temperatures. We have set the our desired temperature and it has kept it accurately so far. The only two things that may be a problem for some is: 1. The cooler will hold less bottles if you want to store wider wine bottles like Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, as only 3 of the these bottles can be placed on the top rack and none on the other racks unless you remove a rack. 2. It does have a continuous humming sound but we tend to ignore it because we are not usually in the area where the cooler is. Despite the possible problems for some, it is a very nice wine cooler and we would definitely recommend this Koolatron wine cooler.

    Constant loud hum/whine... otherwise fine.
    Item works so far. Nice and compact and does hold 20 bottles. My only complaint is that it's loud. A high pitched hum/whine. Sitting in my quiet kitchen it's the only sound I hear. I used to notice my previous Vinotemp fridge when it would cycle on, but otherwise it was quiet. This one appears to run all of the time. I'm keeping it at 60 degrees in hopes it won't run all the time. We shall see. Price was fair.
