Pretty Frustrating
We bought this for our ten year old son who has most of the items in the architecture series. He easily has done the much larger sets and many other Lego sets with thousands of pieces. This one was the first time he just lost interest and became to frustrated to finish himself. The problems are with the Empire State Building portion. The pieces fall apart easily as you assemble it and then the base part of the building does not connect with the tower portion. We rebuilt the bottom portion and the tower portion three times with three different people and same result every time. We had to use an extra piece from our own Legos to make the tower set on the base and even then it won't set centered. The other beef is that they really should have given a little more thought to the Statue of Liberty piece and at least given her a torch or something that makes her look like the actual statue other than just being green. We have done Venice, Berlin, Chicago, and all the different towers and this is the first time the set was a bit of a let down. Looks good from a distance now on his shelves but definitely not as great as the rest of the series quality wise.

    Great, but geographically not accurate
Received this set as a gift and was really excited to build this. I have lived in NYC most of my life, so needless to say that I was a bit disappointed with the lack of attention to detail on the placement of the buildings. If you are going to put the statue of liberty surrounded by water then the next building should be one world trade, followed by the flat iron building, then Empire state building, then Chrysler building. I will have to rebuild this set in that order just so my OCD doesn't spark up. Regardless, thank you for creating such an awesome set!

    *insert tacky NYC caption here*
This is one of the best LEGO Architecture sets you can find out there. It's not too expensive, and although it's pretty simple to build it looks great next to some other NYC stuff, whether it be canvas prints or the Empire State Building set from 2019. Either way this model features some of the most iconic skyscrapers in the country, possibly the world. The Statue of Liberty works well in the scale of the set, and doesn't draw attention from the main buildings which is nice. The Empire State Building is roughly the same size as the standalone set from the beginning of the Architecture line, yet has the same look to it as the larger set from 2019. The Chrysler Building is another one that's hard to capture the look of given its scale, but LEGO did their best and it fits in well with the model. Taking a break from the Supertall skyscrapers from Midtown, the Flatiron Building does a good job representing the real thing (which I've never seen without scaffolding covering it) given its scale. Finally, my personal favorite building in the model and the city, One World Trade Center is another where the scale LEGO built this in makes it so difficult to accurately represent, and I applaud LEGO for their efforts. I rated this as a 1 out of 5 in terms of play value because it's literally not for play.

    Beautiful
I really enjoyed building this, it is my first architecture piece and while I enjoyed the time I spent on it I was very disappointed with the size of the Statue of Liberty It was so small it was kind of ridiculous looking and totally throws off the rest of the structure this should definitely be something that should be fixed in my humble lego loving opinion

    Great addition to our collection
This was the third Architecture piece in my collection and was a fun build. The others we have in our collection are the Empire State Building and The Flat Iron Building which are both in this collection as well and I like this version of the Empire State Building much more it is my second favorite building on the skyline second only to the Chrysler Building (hoping to get a standalone version of that one at a larger scale with more detail). The build was fun and easy my three-year-old helped and we had a lot of fun building this one as with all the others we have built. We look forward to adding to our collection soon

    Stressful Build, but Looks GREAT!!!
My experience with this set is "a little bad, a little good, bit of both..." First off, the price is right, and the finished result looks great! But from the moment I opened the box, I realized this would be harder than any build I had ever done... ...First, the bags are not numbered, and I do not have a large workspace for these projects since my coffee table has filled up with other builds, so I do not have room to knoll out pieces. As such, because I was constantly picking from every bag at the same time, it became very stressful finding parts. I would have preferred if each building was divided into their own bag. That said, despite the build being stressful, the finished result looks really nice and presents a nice representation of iconic locations in my favorite city, and has taken a place of honor next to the Apollo Saturn V. I would recommend this build, but be forewarned that it is a little stressful. That said, it is also amazing to see everything come together...

    Good build
Good fun to complete this challenge. Lots of intricate pieces to place so you have to look very carefully at the instructions. An overall amazing product.

    Excellent Lego
This highly detailed Lego is super fun and has many details you might not have noticed at first. It is not too difficult but isn't easy either. Since the buildings are big the Statue of Liberty is small so it is the right scale. Overall I think this toy is terrific.

    No place, like New York
This is my 2nd Architecture build, and really have enjoyed the New York skyline build. See how the buildings are in different height too. My only criticism is that the Statue of Liberty is abit plain and doesn't really look like the real thing to be honest. But that's it. Really good project to build and give it a 8/10
