The best of the Skyline series so far!
This is the best of the skyline series, SF gives a real sense of place where other kits in the series are more just famous buildings in a row. The San Francisco kit gives you the hills of the city, the steep streets with the streetcars, the painted victorian houses, some famous skyscrapers and the Golden Gate crossing the the Marin County headlands, plus Alcatraz! Definitely a kit to get while you can.

Terrible instructions
The set itself is fine but the instructions are ridiculously hard to see. I regularly purchase Lego and absolutely adore them. But please, for the love of all things Lego, STOP printing instructions on black pages. Especially when half of the bricks are dark brown. The instructions were practically invisible. See attached image. Probably one of the most ridiculous and unenjoyable building experiences.

    Beautiful, clever build
What a beautiful build. As usual with a true LEGO product, no missing pieces and clear instructions. Only minor gripe is that the printing on one of the skyscraper blocks with little windows on it was not properly aligned, but we found a way to place it where it wasn't so noticeable. Very impressed with all the details and the creative build! Item arrived on time and as expected.

A lot of detail in a small space
Lego has brought in many elements of the wonderful city of San Francisco with this Architecture set. Simple elements are used very effectively to convey the hilliness of the city and the Bay. My only complaint is the instructions printed on black background paper. Dark elements are nearly impossible to see, making the build more difficult. I hope to see more of the world's great cities in the future.

    Best skyline set!
I may be biased because I live in California, but I had the most enjoyable experience building this skyline when compared to the others. I love that it had a hill and wasn't just a flat landscape, and it has lots of small, clever details. It is also very eye catching on display due to the variety of colors and the silhouette. Love it!

    Very nice LEGO kit
I bought this kit for my 12 year old after our trip to San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge. He loved building it.

    Fun
My sister gave me this set as a birthday present, she knows I love legos. At first I thought this was going to be easy but it was kind of challenging, especially the Golden Gate Bridge. It was really fun building it and really enjoyed it. In total it took me more than two hours to finish it but I didn't do it in one sitting

    Attention to detail
Although I've been a fan of Lego since decades ago, this is the first set that I've ever purchased for myself. I've been patiently waiting for this set to be release, it's a no-brainer for fans of architecture and those that live in San Francisco. In particular, I'd like to point out the attention to detail that's not described in the accompanying booklet: it correctly models the hilly streets of the city, and has a clever depiction of street cars just behind the Painted Ladies. The only nitpick is that the monstrosity that is the Salesforce Tower could've been replaced by more historical and iconic landmarks such as the Palace of Fine Arts or the Ferry Building.

    Best of the series
I haven't put this together yet, I'm waiting until I'm in the hospital for a week for recovery for an upcoming surgery. :-)

Anyway, but as someone else mentioned, this is probably the best of the "skyline" series kits. It really is a decent coalescing of the buildings and not just a bunch of them stuck in a row (I'm looking at you NYC, Chicago, and Shanghai!!). The London one looks like it might be good too.

I'll report back on things in a month or two after I've built it.
