Won't stay together
The base pieces won't keep the whole cafe together. Every time it's moved, it falls apart because the cafe is too heavy for the 5 small base pieces holding it together. It should be on 1 base piece but the tan base plates are discontinued now.

    Probably should have gone to the store to Purchase
    Gift for Christmas for granddaughter. Box was chewed up and the cover picture is torn (like tape has pulled up the picture) I don't think the contents are damaged so that's why I kept it.

    Very cute set. Small and petite pieces so I recommend sticking with the recommended age of 6 . We had all thr pieces included and then some extras. Cute small cafe. Kind of hard to play with and keep the hair on the red head as well. The instructions were amazing. Very easy to follow. Bags are labeled. 5 stars for that. We were able to move without it falling apart. This was our girl's first Lego experience. They felt accomplished after completing looking at the beautiful Cafe they put together.

    Fun for all ages
    Great lego set for my kids of two different age groups. Easy enough for my 6 year old to build but also kept the attention on my 11 year old. The included instructions offer clear step by step instructions and are very thorough. The store is the cutest! I love the organic setup. All the accessories are so cute! Even the cart-cycle was a great fun idea. It really goes well with the lego friends sets. We have a few other ones and they have all been so fun. It even got destroyed by the dog, nothing serious, but they had to rebuild. It was all easy to take apart and they were able to start over with no issues or frustrations. Definitely is sustainable to accidents.

    The Heartlake City Organic Café Lego set #41444 is super fun for hours of play. Pretend to grow fruits & vegetables, make sandwiches & smoothies. Set up the play cafe and pretend to sell all the home grown homemade foods right from the cafe. I like how the people are larger sized and easier for younger kids to handle. This set is a fun filled adventure for all ages. The Heartland City Organic Cafe is super fun and cute! It comes with so many fun pieces, it even has a bicycle blender cart for the salesperson to drive around.

    Daughter loves it but was frustrated
    We got this for my 6.5 year old daughter and she was so excited. She tore in to it and started following the directions but quickly became frustrated as she was having a tough time getting the skinny walls to stay connected and kept bumping them and knocking them off as she continued to try and build the next step. I stepped in to help and was able to push them together a bit better and we got it built and she adores playing with it now. She was able to build the little cart on her own and she put all stickers on very well. She really does love this set but for a starter lego builder she definitely required assistance which actually made for a fun afternoon for us. The walls for the cafe are all built of one peg wide legos so I think that's why she was having issues pushing them together enough. The characters that come with the set are super cute as well, we love Melvin the grandpa! Sadly he is hiding so I can't take a picture! Over all we love this set but know if your kid is just starting out with legos this may be a project you can do together rather than one they'll do alone.

    My daughters loved this Lego Friends set!
    My daughters love all the Lego Friends sets. They have a few and they love building them! This set was a great addition to the sets they already have. As soon as they got it, they opened it up and started building it. I love the quality of Legos as they don't break even if you step on them. It keeps my daughters entertained for hours. It comes with 3 little people figurines, a bike smoothie shop and the cafe. It wasn't complicated to build, took them a little under an hour. Overall, my girls have enjoyed it.

    My girls age 8 and 11 loved putting this together. I enjoy it as much as they do I think. There are some really super cute details in this design. The instructions are clear and easy to understand. Everything fits together as it should making it sturdy enough for actual use. My favorite part about this is that they are actually playing with it. It was not a build it and forget it project. They are actually playing with it and have added another set that they made a couple of months ago. The food items can be easily played with other sets too. This really is cute and clever overload. Good job on the design of this. I would recommend this set in a heartbeat.
