Fun build
My girlfriend and I are just starting out with legos so we went to our local store bought the xwing it was my first build in a very long time. I had an absolute blast building this took me about two hours to build. Very good instructions and a lot of fun to build. I would recommend this to someone who is just getting into building. It is a very beautiful ship and the rockets shoot which is just the cherry on top of the whole thing.

Horrible packaging
Horrible packaging! This lego set was packaged in a bag with no padding or protection. The lego box arrived destroyed with some of the lego bags inside open (they must have popped!). I will need to return this and probably not reordered! It's a great price, but useless if you want to gift it.

My son and I have spent many hours Wooshing around with things like this. Got this set on sale, so it was even more enjoyable for me. Great details on the Xwing for the size, minifigs are nice as well, but this must be the 100th R2 that we have now. And I'm not exaggerating THAT much... Solid build though, enjoyable and holds together, so if you have a kid who wants to run around the house with this thing flying around, it will hold up to it. I ended up with three of these total. The first one I got, then forgot I had bought it and purchased a second. When I realized I had two, I figured I may as well get a third and we can display them as a little formation when we set up the diorama in the basement.Unknown

The price was acceptable considering the number of pieces, the level of the build and size of the finished piece. But the cost of Star Wars Lego kits seemed to be going up quickly. I’ve read reviews stating the new Lego bricks don’t stayed locked to each other as well as the older Lego. This is true but if built according to instructions they stay together as much as can be expected. I’ve built other Lego sets and wonder if the Star Wars sets aren’t manufactured by someone other than Lego. That with the increased price of the Star Wars kits will definitely limit the Star Wars Lego kits I do purchaseDollarBill

The shipping box is fine, so it's not the packing and shipping, it's however they are stored or where they ship from. I'm tired of processing returns due to a product being damaged before its shipped. Yes, it's just a box, but some Legos are also collectors items and we as collectors like to keep them in good condition in their box.Timothy

I LOVE them, picked the X-Wing up at Walmart today. Plan to get the Imperial Tie Fighter next to pair with this. But the build was fun and easy. Build seems stable enough as long as you don't throw it. My only complaint, being how it will be a display piece and not a toy. I wish the wings would stay open while it's standing. But I can get clear 2x2s to lift it enough to do so. As usual, can't wait for the next set!Midgetje93
