Great set for little builders
I purchased this set for my 9 year old daughter. She's a fast builder and I thought I'd gift her something a little more challenging. She had this set built in a few hours working off and on through the day and it was completely set up before bedtime. She loves it!

Falls apart easily
I have been hooked on Lego for several years now and consider myself an low-intermediate level builder. I am a huge Friends fan and love all the detailed references in this build. I have to admit it was fun (mostly) to build. I have 2 criticisms to this set: The window will not tilt per the instructions which had the valance resting on the frame when in the upright position. I added a row of spare black plates which allows it to tilt inward. Very unusual to find something wrong that i couldn't back track and correct with the bricks provided. My second criticism is that while it isn't meant to “play with”, just moving it carefully causes things to pop off the walls and furniture, such as lamps, wall sconces, and curtains. Several things that are difficult to re-build without causing collateral damage. One suggey, if you have the set and have not completed Monica's apartment yet, it would have been easier to fill the closet prior to attaching it.

    Such a fun set!
    Another great LEGO set from another of my favorite shows! This one comes with all of the Friends in mini figure form. Its a large set so be sure you have enough space to build amd display. The whole family got in in the build and we all had so much fun!

    The One With All The References
    I've been re-watching Friends episode by episode, so when this came out I was thrilled to dig in. It was easy to follow and had so many references to details from the show throughout the years! My biggest gripe was the doors as others have mentioned.. but I just oriented them as in the show leaving them cracked open - they were usually that way anyway ;)

    Oh my gawd!
    I've had my eye on this set since it came out. I was lucy enough to get it for Christmas. I chose to split it up and work on each numbered bag a different day. It took me 15 days to complete the set. I am in love. There are so many nods to several of the episodes. It's sitting right next to my Central Perk build. I would recommend that all FRIENDS lovers get this set.

    Fun build but with inaccuracies
    I always love putting these builds together and love the details that Lego considers in the shows and movies that are recreated in the sets. This one though had some mistakes or things that were unclear. First of all the ticket chandler is holding?! The blogs suggest that it is an airline ticket to Yemen which would have been great but it looks like a concert ticket or carnival ticket. Also- and most importantly- the episode mentioned in the book is not the Yemen episode and does not involve a ticket at all. And seconding some of the other reviews, i would have loved for the doors to be the correct color in the hallway and maybe a apartment number? It seems like that wouldnt have been hard to do considering the details included in so many of the other sets. I also agree that play wise making the furniture more transferrable between apartments would have been really cool to switch everything around like in the show. I also think the choices for the tvs were off. The girls apartment was always days the boys apartment should have been bay watch (or lego version). Chandler doesnt do sports. Everyone knows that. On thanksgiving he watches the parade every year. It also would have been SO cool if the turkey could actually be put on the mini figs. That was pretty disappointing especially considering that the turkey being worn is mentioned multiple times. Otherwise i love this set. Gladys, the messy closet, the cheesecake, all the crazy furniture in the boys apartment, Janice!! Im excited to display the apartment with my central perk set when i finally get appropriate shelving!

    Could it BE any cuter?
    I'm sure that review title has already been done but life must go on! I was only expecting Monica's apartment and thus wasn't really planning on getting it (at least that's what I was telling myself) but then when they revealed it was BOTH apartments? Yeah, done. I do weird/goofy Lego Friends scenarios on Instagram so this set was a done deal. <br> The boys' apartment is a little sparse, and even more so when I take out the canoe since the sets to be as accurate as can be, but it's still good. It would have been cool if the entertainment center opened and closed, but it's still fun, nonetheless. I love the kitchen and the couch/chairs. <br> The girls' apartment is the main draw, and gets the most detail. The kitchen is even better in this one, the living room has more to do and when it's all done, you sorta look at it and go, "Yeah. That just looks right." ESPECIALLY when you put the big set next to Central Perk. And now, with the Seinfeld set coming out, I'll will have a New York Lego display with the original Ghostbusters crew and the Ecto-1! It's the little things in life. <br> Anyway, recommended! It could have had a few extra features and maybe have been a little less expensive, but it was still a very fun build. <br> Weird building fact: The purple bricks in the girls' apartment has made me want grape Laffy Taffy since I bought the set.

    The one with the criticism...
    Still in process of building. Wish I would've known about the coffee cup cause I would've waited to buy the set.... Instead of being a vip :(.. . Theresa few things that do however bug me. None of the interior doors open how they do in the show. And to have them open properly they can't have a door handle... The exterior door Into the hallway section can't have a door handle either.... (may have to try to dremel it out) and the exterior doors to the apartments in the hallway should be green.Not tan and purple. Throws off the realism of the set for me. Also seems like the TV stickers are wrong. They always watched DOOL at Monica's. Not football. Easy switch but should be aware.
