Bought this for my daughter and son in law. They both are sleeping much better which they need. He is in the military and she a stay home mom.

TERRIBLY FAILED - OVERPRICED PRODUCT!!!
The item was not refurbished - the unit was thrown into a cardboard box thich was falling apart, with 3-4 pieces of polyurethane debrie. Also - the unit does not shut off and is running the entire time, sounds like an electric lawn mower. TERRIBLY FAILED PRODUCT! DO NOT BUY!!!

    WHERE IS ALL THIS WATER COMING FROM
    This is my second portable unit; my first was a Black and Decker. I wish I'd paid the difference and gotten it or not gotten factory refurbished. Water is everywhere. I've drained a gallon of water out of this thing, and it's still spitting water everywhere after one day's use! I'm only giving it 1 star above 1 because it does cool the room down.

    Good product, highly recommend
    Works great. box was opened when item arrived and in bad shape, but item was not broken or scratched. It works great without the remote so you can easily make selections on the unit itself. That's a Plus for me so, I don't after figure out how to program remote.

    Very "used" looking a/c unit (but it worked).
    This was actually my second (replacement) unit. First unit was missing installation parts and had a cracked front cover. Replacement unit arrived and had all parts. The main unit itself looked like it had been dropped down a flight of concrete stairs with all the deep scratches, but it did work properly. If these were truly "factory refurbished" and not simply repackaged a/c units provided by LG, then LG has a long way to go when it comes to actually providing a quality factory refurbished unit. BTW -- high marks to Wal-Mart customer service, very pleased with their outstanding and thorough handling of the exchange.

    For the price, this is a great chiller. We use this to cool our basement where we have a significant amount of food stoarage. This will help us protect that investment.

    I was surprised how scratched and marked up. Clearly an used and not fully refurbished. Theres even heavy duty tape looking like it is holding parts together. Retuning it. Very heavy unit too. Very disappointed.

    Great Buy
    This portable AC works perfectly . It cools my whole room up within seconds. Only thing I disliked about it was the cord is really short so when your first buying make sure your outlet isn't too far from your window . Other then that this is a good buy for the price.
