I would NOT recommend
14 day warranty is NOTHING. This A-Frame needs at least a yr warranty so people can REALLY see how poorly Lakeland Mills manufacturers these frames. Hayneedle was no help. They won't accept my pics as proof but will give me a in-store credit of $111.03 BUT....get this, Hayneedle only do this AFTER they send me a Fed Ex label so that I can disassemble the frame, locate the a box and ship back a 70 lb swing with 84"" Long pieces of wood. Photos are not acceptable. Disassembling and cutting into pieces to ship back is not acceptable. Therefore NO INSTORE CREDIT - just awhole lotta hoops to jump through. This Lakeland Mills A-Frame Swing Stand is going on the curb in little pieces. It is not safe. Hayneedle should REMOVE from their website. P.O.C.

    Excellent Quality, Made in USA
    Made in America. Very high quality cedar wood and fasteners. It's kinda funny how they have so many mentions about "checking", which is essentially the large dramatic cracks seen in cedar. So many people get spooked by it or think it's poor quality so these poor customer service reps must be handling calls about it all the time. At any rate, installation is much simpler with an extra set of hands or two to balance the whole thing while inserting the large carriage bolts. One mistake I made: I didn't tighten the carriage bolts all the way before screwing in the small stabilizer planks. This, the whole thing was very tight and I hadn't yet cranked down the nut in order to pull the framing pieces together. So, when I finally did that, it put extra stress on the stabilizer planks. I simply didn't follow the instructions closely. We attached our porch swing to this and it's rock solid.

    HIgh Qualty and Looks and Works Great!
    Got this to go with the matching swing. Very sturdy and heavy, all high quality wood and hardware. It won't be blowing over in the wind. Due to the weight and set up, two people are definitely needed. This is not a light weight product. It went together quickly and looks and works great with the matching swing. Already enjoying it in our yard .

    The perfect toddlers swing stand
    Purchased this cedar stand for a 1yr. old's Little Tykes swing. Also purchased a pair of swing straps to help attach the swing. The cedar stand is very sturdy, fairly easy to assemble and works perfectly (just as described). It also looks very nice in the yard.

    Would Not Recommend
    I received this A frame by FedEx ground in very good condition. I arrived in the time period as promised by Hayneedle. Assembly is my disappointing issue. I was almost finished putting this together and was on the last brace. The heads on the two screws required to put this top brace on popped off. I don't know why since I didn't over tighten these screws. There is no way to get these screws out because there is nothing to grab onto.

    Nice stand, but instructions could have been clearer.
    I like the stand once together. The instructions indicated you could make it slightly higher or lower depending on where you placed the cross brace. But with the way the legs were cut at the top I did not see where that was possible unless you left a gap instead of fitting the legs at the angle cut. Also one leg has a crack from the top to the bottom of the pole and that is where the screw for the cross brace went. I hope it holds ok.
