With aging, she is having trouble dialing the phone quickly enough and gets tired holding the receiver. She cant do phones with screens or complicated memory dealing features. Almost perfect! I wanted to mount this on the wall near her bed so she could call for help if she needed it. When wall mounted, the receiver drops right off. The receiver has to be hung up to use the speaker function, and of course the phone doesnt function as a wall mount. However, if you want a simple phone that will be sitting on a flat surface, this would be great! The speaker button is even a different color so it is easy to spot. The phone would be even better with less functios(therefore buttons) but it is the simplest speaker phone I've found yet. Super desk phone, horrible wall mounted phone.HappyGardener
